Christian Coalition offers people of faith the vehicle to be actively involved
in impacting the issues they care about from the county courthouse to the halls of Congress.
The Coalition is a political organization, made up of pro-family Americans who care deeply about ensuring that government serves to strengthen and preserve, rather than threaten, our families and our values. To that end, we work continuously to identify, educate and mobilize Christians for effective political action.
Our hallmark work lies in voter education. Each election year, Christian Coalition distributes tens of millions of voter guides throughout all fifty states, (up to seventy million in 2000 alone!). These guides help give voters a clear understanding of where candidates stand on important pro-family issues – before they go to the polls on Election Day.
Our efforts do not stop with voter guides. We actively lobby Congress and the White House on numerous issues and hold grassroots training seminars and events all around the country that draw thousands of pro-family supporters and help organize activists on critical issues facing our country.
Today, Christians need to play an active role in government again like never before. If we are going to be able to change policy and influence decisions, it is imperative that people of faith become committed to doing what Ronald Reagan called “the hard work of freedom”. We are driven by the belief that people of faith have a right and a responsibility to be involved in the world around them. That involvement includes community, social and political action.

She has served as a founding member and has been the only woman on the board of directors for the Christian Coalition of America, which offers pro-family Americans a vehicle to policies that serve to strengthen and preserve, rather than threaten, our families and our values.
Under Roberta’s leadership, the Christian Coalition of America has worked to provide education and political training to thousands of Christian activists around the country in order to challenge and equip individuals and churches to make a difference at all levels of government. Each election year, the Christian Coalition of America distributes tens of millions of non-partisan Voter Guides throughout all fifty states, (over 70,000,000 for the 2000 election alone). These guides help give voters a clear understanding of where candidates stand on important pro-family issues – before they go to the polls on Election Day.
Roberta owned a very successful business in the 1970’s and 1980’s. In the early 1980’s, she began her political consulting business. As a political consultant, she advised and managed numerous campaigns at the local, state and national level. She has served as a pro-family advisor to many US Congressmen, US Senators and Governors as well as President George W. Bush and has also testified before Congress on behalf of pro-family issues for the Christian Coalition of America. She has appeared in many national media outlets, including television, radio and print, commenting on politics and current issues. She also has served on numerous boards and commissions and has held different offices in the Republican Party serving in both appointed and elected positions at all levels. She and her late husband, Andy, were national delegates to the Republican National Convention for 16 years consecutively being one of the few couples in the country with that honor. Roberta has also served on the National Republican Party Platform Committee.
Roberta has traveled the world representing Christian Coalition of America including an Israeli government sponsored trip to Israel where she met with the Prime Minister of Israel and the Mayor of Jerusalem. She also spoke before one half million activists at a freedom rally in Germany. Roberta was invited to a private meeting with HRH Prince Charles at his private residence at Clarence House in London, England to discuss Christian Coalition of America, environmental and pro-family issues.
In 2005, Roberta broadened the Christian Coalition’s mission to help impoverished nations and to promote an energy policy that increases national security as well as providing clean air for this country and around the world.
She divides her time between Washington, DC and her home in Charleston, South Carolina. Roberta is the mother of two daughters, Karen and Michele and the grandmother of one grandson, Logan.
