Wilson: 'Not going to apologize again'
Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) said Sunday that he does not plan a second apology to the White House for his "liar" outburst, meaning that House Democratic leaders plan to pursue a resolution of disapproval this week.
"I am not going to apologize again," Wilson told Chris Wallace on "Fox News Sunday."
"I apologized to the president on Wednesday night. ... I believe that is sufficient."
A House Democratic aide said the resolution would likely come Tuesday at the earliest. "It's not about apologizing 'again,'" the aide said. "The House must address the breach of decorum. Silence is consent. An apology would be one way to address it. A resolution is another way"...
