DURHAM, N.H. -- Fallout over comments about Sarah Palin on Facebook has led to the resignation of a state representative and the withdrawal of a candidate.

Democratic candidate for state representative Keith Halloran announced Thursday afternoon that he was withdrawing from his race, a day after he came under fire for making a comment on Facebook related to Palin.
