House Republicans claim the latest unemployment figures prove President Obama and Speaker Nancy Pelosi have a "jobs-killing agenda" and their trillion-dollar stimulus is not working.

Unemployment in the U.S. has hit a 26-year high, rising in September to 9.8 percent as 263,000 jobs were cut. Republican Congresswoman Candice Miller's home state of Michigan currently has the highest rate of unemployment in the United States at 15.2 percent.
