Media giving 'anti-oil' president a pass
A conservative media watchdog organization says the mainstream television networks are once again demonstrating their liberal bias in their coverage of the recent skyrocketing gas prices.
The Business and Media Institute (BMI) of the Media Research Center has been tracking network news coverage of the recent spike in gasoline prices brought on by continuing unrest in the Middle East. BMI’s study found that the average price hit $3.36 a gallon on February 28, which The Associated Press reports was the highest-ever national average for the month of February.
