Pollster and political scientist Dave Woodard says the past week
has been a good one for John McCain -- but electorally, he says, the presumptive
GOP presidential nominee still has real problems.
Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) received positive reviews for his
performance at Rick Warren's presidential forum on Saturday, and a new Zogby
poll showed him leading Senator Barack Obama (D-Illinois) 46 to 41 percent. That
poll also showed that voters believe McCain is a stronger manager of the economy
