Angry AZ governor vows to fight White House
An immigration enforcement organization is praising Arizona Governor Jan Brewer (R) for vowing to fight the Obama administration if it sues the state over its controversial immigration enforcement bill.
Ever since the Arizona legislature passed the tough new measures contained in S.B. 1070, the Obama administration has threatened to take legal action against them. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recently told an Ecuadorian television network that the administration "will be bringing" suit against Arizona, even though the Justice Department has said for weeks that the issue is still under review. Her comments angered Brewer, who responded by saying she is ready for a fight.
