Moral Combat: Video Game Instructs Players to Kill Bachmann

Remember the good ‘ole days when a great video game consisted of two Italians from Brooklyn defending a mushroom kingdom? Well, those days are over and video games have taken on new visual and political dimensions. A new video game, Tea Party Zombies Must Die, directs players to hunt and brutally kill Tea Party leaders including Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich. In this first-person shooter, players are equipped with firearms and crowbars as their pursuit leads throughout Fox Studies hunting conservatives. (1) This video game is so disgraceful, that even Keith Olberman wants to boycott it. (2) Now you know it’s bad.

The mastermind behind this appalling video game is Jason Oda, a New York-based developer with Starving Eyes Viral Avergaming. While Oda is hiding behind the Frist Amendment claiming free speech, many others are defending his creation by claiming that an entertainment outlet will not insight anger or encourage violence in those who routinely play video games - teenagers. This argument is dead wrong. read more »

Burning Quran Not So Hot--Another Look

The publicity began full force in September of 2010 when a Florida pastor announced his upcoming, “Burn a Quran Day.” As controversy swelled, the event was on, then it was off, then it was on again. Pastor Terry Jones of the Dove World Outreach Center, a tiny church of 50 members, proclaimed that on September 11, 2010, on the 9th anniversary of the 9-11 sneak attacks on America by Muslims, the “Burn a Quran Day” would take place in the parking lot of his church.

That fire fizzled out as he cancelled the plan. However, he did recenlty go through with it, igniting a Quran along with a global powder keg. This writer thinks that the idea of burning copies of the Quran (or any other book) is not so hot, even though you will be surprised as to why this objection is offered. It’s not what you think.

When this plan first went public in 2010, the occupier of The Oval Office held a pathetic news conference where he virtually begged Pastor Jones not to go through with this idea, because this will upset Muslims which will put our miltary personnel at risk and would lead to violence to Americans overseas.

How’s that again? Our troops are ALREADY at risk, constantly. Not only those in Afghanistan and Iraq, but on our own miltary bases right here in America, such as Ft. Hood where a Muslim soldier stationed there, shot up the base, killing and wounding dozens of military personnel. There was no Quran burned.  As for attacks on Americans overseas, American civilians found we were not even safe from Muslims in our own country. read more »

Hope Fading that Radical/Islamic Factions keep Separate

The mosque controversy in New York City: “To build, or not to build. That is the question.” The 1st Amendment to the Constitution guarantees freedom of religion. But certainly the mosque would not be built depending upon neighborhood conditions, zoning restrictions, or bad taste. But its building has superceded all of those now.

The Enemy Within Part 2

As our fearless leader appeases his way through the Orient, the families of the victims at Fort Hood are left picking up the pieces of their broken lives. The massacre hardly made a blip on Obama's radar, his administration is trying desperately to portray this as your garden variety slaughter, but for those of us with a brain, this attack is not so insignificant, no it's enormous. This was a terror attack that probably could have been avoided, if not for our societies ingestion and acceptance of political correctness, the proper steps would have been taken long ago to imprison this slug.

The military is consumed by PC fear, liberals have been quite successful in their campaign for loathsome white guilt. They've created an atmosphere of tolerance for the intolerable. This sworn Islamic soldier penetrated our military, and with their careers in the balance, our guardians looked away, and for that 13 hero's are dead.

Liberalism infects everything it comes in contact with. The liberal elites, like President Obama, Harry Reid, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Nancy Pelosi and others take pleasure in controlling their naive left wing minions. The elite's pander to this peace, love, and happiness crowd, making slaves of millions. They don't believe in any of it. These are progressives in liberal clothing, sure they believe in abortion, not because it's a women right, but because it controls the population and supports selective breeding, weeding out the less desirable. read more »

Capitol Hill Update: Derelict Army Generals Need to Prosecute in Murder of Unborn Child

To add insult to injury, the prosecutors in the United States Army, have thus far refused to charge the Islamic terrorist with a 14th murder charge in the Ft. Hood massacre by ignoring the death of an unborn baby.  This mass murder, by a deranged Muslim terrorist, probably would not have occurred at all, if the leadership of the Army, led by Army Chief of Staff, General George Casey, had gotten rid of this Army Major jihadist in the first place.  The U.S. Army  --  infested with political correctness for the past several decades  --  had plenty of warnings that the terrorist, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, was about to explode.

The left-wing news media has been intent on ignoring the death of a 14th victim, besides the 12 soldiers and Army civilian, assassinated by terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan.  Indeed, the one word on this week's cover of "Time" magazine was "terrorist" with a question mark behind "terrorist?" and a picture of the Islamic terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan in the background.

The United States Army  --  which has succumbed to left-wing political correctness for far too long  --  needs to immediately recognize the death of the 6-week-old unborn child of assassinated Army Private Francheska Velez, a 21-year old native of Barack Hussein Obama's hometown of Chicago.     read more »

We Say a Prayer in Remembrance

On this 8th anniversary of the Islamic terrorist attacks on America, September 11, 2001, we say a prayer for the families of the victims from attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the heroes on Flight 93, headed for Washington D.C., which crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

On that fateful morning 8 years ago, Christian Coalition of America staff was beginning to gather for our daily prayer service in our Capitol Hill office and preparing to offer up prayers for the events taking place already in New York City.  From one of the huge picture windows in Christian Coalition's conference room, the staffers already present saw a plane pass closely by, heading in the direction of the Pentagon.  Moments after beginning our prayer service, we were told to evacuate the building.  None of us will ever be able to forget that horrible day. read more »

Coalition Guest Commentary - Sen. Mitch McConnell: We Will Never Forget

Editor's Note: On this 8th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of 9-11, Christian Coalition of America features the U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell's words spoken on Wednesday, which honor the heroes of Flight 93 and reflect on the events of September 11, 2001.

***

It is an honor to be here today with family members of the brave heroes of Flight 93, whose important place in history will now be forever memorialized here.  We will never forget their sacrifice, nor the sacrifices of so many others on that sad day.

In the life of a nation, some moments are worth remembering. Others are impossible to forget. September 11, 2001, is both. With each passing year, the day becomes more distant, but the memories do not. read more »

Obama administration putting any veterans on the terrorist watch list is a disgrace

Most of us Vietnam war veterans, and many other Americans, are appalled at Barack Obama's Department of Homeland Security (DHS) putting out a so-called terrorist "watch list" this week which includes pro-lifers -- the natural enemy of such a radical pro-abortion administration -- but equally as bad, includes American veterans.

Yet, this is an administration which is headed by an individual who began his political career in the home of his friend, Bill Ayers, an unrepetent terrorist, whose associates committed murder against innocent Americans as part of their left-wing anti-America and anti-war activities.

Those of us who are also members of the American Legion, almost 3 million strong, are encouraged that the leaders of the American Legion are demanding a meeting with Obama's head of the DHS, Janet Napolitano, who was an extreme left-wing governor before selected as Obama's "security" chief.

On today's front page of 'The Washington Times," the national commander of the American Legion, David K. Rehbein, was quoted as saying: "I think that it is important for all of us to remember that Americans are not the enemy. The terrorists are." He blasted Napolitano's new "security" assessment report entitled: "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Polticial Climate Fueling Resurgence and Recruitment." read more »
