The Democrat presidential nominee in 1988, Massachusetts Governor Michael S. Dukakis, said about the ethical standards of the Reagan Administration, “There’s an old Greek saying … the fish rots from the head first. It starts at the top.”  Dukakis went on to say that scandal and misconduct had become “almost an epidemic.  It’s the guy at the top who has to be held accountable.”

However, the ethical standards of the Reagan Administration were pristine compared to the cesspool of ethics scandals and the rampant lawlessness of the current Democrat administration.  Dukakis could have been describing the current occupant of the White House as the number of major presidential scandals continues to accelerate under Barack Obama.

As the American people are now finding out  --   little thanks to the “see no evil” mainstream news media  --  because of the president’s frequent attacks on his political opposition, his underlings, including apparently all the way up to his chief of staff, have been shading the truth; lying to the American people and to the news media, and are committing crimes in the name of their president.

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann accused the Obama administration of orchestrating yet another information dump on a “Friday dump day” at the end of last week.  Indeed, this was one of their most clever Friday dumps yet.

Two days following shocking revelations about what is arguably the worst presidential (cover-up) scandal in American history, the BenghaziGate scandal  -- involving the dereliction of duty by the Obama administration regarding the September 11, 2012 Islamic terrorist attack on the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya and the preventable assassinations of Obama’s Ambassador to Libya; his fellow diplomat, and two Navy Seals  --   the Obama administration tried to change the subject to what has become another new Obama scandal.   

Al Jazeera, the Qatar-based international cable network, will open 12 new bureaus in various locations across the U.S.  The goal of the news outlet’s aggressive expansion is to become a household name in America.

The launch of the new bureaus will begin in the summer. In addition to expansion in New York City, bureaus will open in Nashville, Denver, New Orleans, San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Seattle, Detroit and Washington, D.C.

Dawud Walid, executive director of Hamas-Linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), said he believes Al Jazeera America in Detroit is a positive development for the local Muslim community. “I believe Al Jazeera coming here to the heart of Muslim America can play a productive role in showing a clearer image of who we are as Muslims.”

While the U.S. was still reeling from the devastation caused by the Boston bombing and before it was known who was responsible for the act, there were those on the left who assumed, even hoped, that it was an act of right-wing terrorism.  When their hopes were dashed, they took a detour from grieving for the victims and began instead to focus on, as they imagined it, the probability of backlash against Muslim Americans. Apparently, they anticipated a string of retributive attacks against Muslim Americans. These speculators tend to be very selective about which victims deserve their attention and empathy.  And, their ideology is based on the belief that “Islamophobia” like its cohort, racism, is a prevalent force in the world.

The news reports this week that three self-described anarchists  --  along with two more of their comrades in the state of Ohio  --  plotted to blow up a 4-lane highway bridge near Cleveland over the Cuyahoga Valley National Park was astounding.  The fact that this group of anarchists/terrorists had ties to the Occupy Wall Street movement is not as shocking, since there have been countless descriptions of some of those associated with the Occupy movement being anarchists ever since the movement began last year. 

These terrorists/anarchists/Occupy movement activists carried flags associated with anarchist groups according to news reports.  Interestingly enough, the day on which newspapers reported that the FBI arrested these characters  --  charged with conspiracy and attempted use of explosive materials   --   is the very day the Occupy movement held more demonstrations around the nation including protests at Wall Street in New York City.  In addition, yesterday is the most important day to the communist movement:  May Day.  That, in itself, says all you need to know about the Occupy movement, much of it funded by the billionaire George Soros and his ilk. 

Secretary of state czarina, Hillary Clinton has confirmed that the Obama communist machine will not only waste tax payer money supporting Syrian rebels(12 million more), but is also contemplating military support to topple the Assad dictatorship. Lessons in Libya long forgotten, I guess. Our media and the currant regime would like us to believe that we are defending democracy, when in fact we've been contributing to the birth of an unforgiving radical Islamist consolidation. The theatrical narration seems to be that we are supporting the liberty loving oppressed, when in fact we are installing governments more murderous than the previous ones. At least we knew where we stood with Gaddafi and Hosne Mubarak.

Remember the good ‘ole days when a great video game consisted of two Italians from Brooklyn defending a mushroom kingdom? Well, those days are over and video games have taken on new visual and political dimensions. A new video game, Tea Party Zombies Must Die, directs players to hunt and brutally kill Tea Party leaders including Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich. In this first-person shooter, players are equipped with firearms and crowbars as their pursuit leads throughout Fox Studies hunting conservatives. (1) This video game is so disgraceful, that even Keith Olberman wants to boycott it. (2) Now you know it’s bad.

The mastermind behind this appalling video game is Jason Oda, a New York-based developer with Starving Eyes Viral Avergaming. While Oda is hiding behind the Frist Amendment claiming free speech, many others are defending his creation by claiming that an entertainment outlet will not insight anger or encourage violence in those who routinely play video games - teenagers. This argument is dead wrong.

The publicity began full force in September of 2010 when a Florida pastor announced his upcoming, “Burn a Quran Day.” As controversy swelled, the event was on, then it was off, then it was on again. Pastor Terry Jones of the Dove World Outreach Center, a tiny church of 50 members, proclaimed that on September 11, 2010, on the 9th anniversary of the 9-11 sneak attacks on America by Muslims, the “Burn a Quran Day” would take place in the parking lot of his church.

That fire fizzled out as he cancelled the plan. However, he did recenlty go through with it, igniting a Quran along with a global powder keg. This writer thinks that the idea of burning copies of the Quran (or any other book) is not so hot, even though you will be surprised as to why this objection is offered. It’s not what you think.

When this plan first went public in 2010, the occupier of The Oval Office held a pathetic news conference where he virtually begged Pastor Jones not to go through with this idea, because this will upset Muslims which will put our miltary personnel at risk and would lead to violence to Americans overseas.

How’s that again? Our troops are ALREADY at risk, constantly. Not only those in Afghanistan and Iraq, but on our own miltary bases right here in America, such as Ft. Hood where a Muslim soldier stationed there, shot up the base, killing and wounding dozens of military personnel. There was no Quran burned.  As for attacks on Americans overseas, American civilians found we were not even safe from Muslims in our own country.
