Is Europe’s Blatant Discrimination Against Christians Coming to America?

The news that the government of Great Britain is mounting a full-scale assault on Christians is not really surprising.  The left-wing in England, like their counterparts on the European continent, have long discriminated against Christians, while at the same time, in myriad ways, protected those of Muslim faith.  For much of his 3 years in office, Barack Obama and his administration have been mirroring Europe’s blatant discrimination against Christians.

The latest example of the rabid discrimination by Prime Minister David Cameron’s government in Great Britain against Christians came from a news report from the United Kingdom’s national newspaper, “The Daily Mail”.  According to the newspaper, the UK’s Equalities Minister Lynne Featherstone, a Liberal Democrat, has instructed government’s lawyers to stop Christian workers from wearing the cross.  The Cameron government will call on Europe’s “human rights” judges to dismiss the claims of Christian workers Nadia Eweida and Shirley Chaplin that they have a right to wear a cross to work as a symbol of their faith in Jesus Christ.

Guest Commentator Jerry Newcombe on Debt Deal

Note from Rev. Austin: The crazy debt-ceiling frenzy going on in The House on The Hill has everyone's head spinning while bearing witness to the strangest display of logic, statistics and math ever recorded. White House Wisdom has showered us with glowing examples, such as "raising the debt in order to bring down the debt." How's that again?

Since economics, debt based government, and bookkeeping were never strong points with this writer-commentator, and being no match for the White House Wizards of Monetary Muckery, the keyboard has been surrendered to TV Producer, Author, and Popular Radio Host Jerry Newcombe who puts it in a perspective that those scratching their heads might understand.

So Just Who's Happy with the Debt-Ceiling Deal?
By Jerry Newcombe

Ronald Reagan once said about runaway government expenditures, "We could say they spend like drunken sailors, but that would be unfair to drunken sailors, because the sailors are spending their own money."

Congress has now passed into law a bill to raise the debt-ceiling and supposedly cut the projected growth of government by a few trillion over the next decade. Meanwhile, the August 2 crisis of a default on our debts has been supposedly avoided. And it seems that neither side is fully happy.

On the one hand, I hear the Tea Party being given credit for helping to frame the debate. On the other hand, I hear many of the Tea Party members themselves questioning the wisdom of the whole day.

Democrats Continue to Threaten Censoring of Popular Talk Show Host via the "Fairness Doctrine"

Democrats continue to threaten the abolition of radio talk show hosts such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham by passing legislation bringing back the misnamed "Fairness Doctrine"

Left-wing Senator Debbie Stabenow, Democrat from Michigan, was reported in yesterday's "The Politico" newspaper on Capitol Hill to want to bring "accountability" to the public airwaves, whether it's called the Fairness Standard [sic]" or "whether it's called something else." Last year, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, San Francisco Democrat Nancy Pelosi, said that the "Fairness Doctrine" needed to be addressed in Congress. The question for Pelosi and Stabenow is, will their "Fairness Doctrine" applied to radio talk show hosts such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham also be applied to the left-wing television news networks such as NBC, CBS and ABC?
