As a conservative, I guess, I find myself inclined to vote for Rick Perry, he seems to be advocating all the right things. In 1988 Rick Perry was a democrat, not just any democrat, but one that supported progressive Eco-freak Al Gore. Al Gore, a part of the disgusting anti-America apparatus, hell bent on extinguishing lives to grow gardens, that Al Gore. In 1989 Perry became a republican. How do you go from supporting a progressive lunatic like Al Gore's bid for the Presidency to a republican? Can progressives shift to different sides of the isle? Yes they can.

Yesterday two elected New York Republican Senators,, Stephen Saland, representing Poughkeepsie, and Mark Grisanti, representing Buffalo, cast the deciding votes that has made "marriage" between same sex partners now a legal right in what is being described in the liberal media as "An Historic Victory!"

These two Republican Senators who made this distortion of marriage possible were voted into office to represent the interests of those who put them in office, with family values a top prioity, since families, consisting of a man and woman bound together by marriage and who raise their children in marriage, are the core of the strength of our nation.

This is what Senators Saland and Grisanti promised to represent and were paid to do, which is treasonous. They have struck a serious blow against family as defined by God and this insane bill will work to erode the very concept of family. We understand that the next stop will be to rename Father's Day, Parent's Day. That is what is now planned.

It is also a serious blow to homosexuals who have the shortest life spans of any other group of people due to the diseases their abnormal sexual activity provokes.

By these senators encouraging them in homosexual conduct, they are playing an active role in the early destruction of these lives along with the gifts and abilities that we will not tbe able to benefit from because of their premature deaths. read more »

Abortion, is it the foremost issue? Yes.

Can you have supported the right to an abortion in the past and still be a Christian? Yes.

Can you have had an abortion and still be a Christian? Yes.

Can you have helped support someone who had an abortion, even being the father of the unborn child yourself, not once, not twice, but three times or more and still be a Christian? Yes and yes.

Can you love and forgive yourself and others who have had an abortion? Yes, you must!

Can you vote for a politician who supports abortion? No.

Can you actively support, or passively accept, the Right to Choose as an acceptable political platform? No.

Can you call into question that an unborn child (and its mother) should have every opportunity possible to come to full term and enjoy the birth rights endowed by their creator? No.

You have, I hope, noticed that I believe that no one can ever deny anyone's Christianity but their own. We can only affirm in positive ways what we believe to be Christian principles and to me the right to life is the preeminent one.

Therefore, those who believe in the right to live must approach all political decisions with the law of abortion kept in mind. Is it the only issue, of course not, but it is the central issue. read more »

After several years of hearings that began in 2003, with haggling, cajoling, coercing, threatening and payoffs, the proposed $1.2 billlion Casino-Hotel-Resort at Richmond’s water front, has been given the last rites for the Richmond, Point Molate gambling rights. Even though the voters overwhelmingly made their opposition clear, the tribe of Guidivillle Band of Pomo Indians,  with gambling profiteers behind the proposal, were determined to push this on the people. These tribal casinos were hatched by the mob using white-guilt of past injustices to the Indians to gain traction for the scheme,  in this case, the Guidiville Band of of Pomo Indians to front the project.

Indeed at one of the hearings that this writer attended, one speaker who opposed the casino felt obligated to state that this was nothing against the Indians, he had no prejudice towards them etc. etc. etc.  So white people were shoe-horned into a position to be called racists if they didn’t approve the Indian Casino because Indians were running it.  Clever move on the part of the mob.

Millions upon millions of dollars of cash in the stash was offered, motivated by the speculation that the casino would take in $1 billion a year AS PROFIT! This is of course serious money that would propel one to use any means necessary to accomplish the goal. That includes generous bribes and bribe offers. read more »

Oakley, California. In Ultra Liberal California, Christians are generally hated and undermined at every opportunity. A church in Oakley, California has constantly been in the crosshairs of this atheistic, socialist state. especially when it began to have a positive effect on the area of East County, in the Bay Area.  A public school was constructed and just before it opened, the housing crash began, workers were losing their jobs, forced to move due to foreclosures on their homes, and there were no students to enroll in the school. It sat empty. Mountain View Christian Center made arrangements to lease it from the cash strapped town of Oakley, using the classrooms for Trinity Christian School and the auditorium for the worship services. The superintendent of the Oakley School Distirict seemed to be uneasy with the arrangement from the start, and would contempuously refer to the teachers and staff as; “Those Christians.”

The final straw for the superintendant, Rick Rogers, was when the church launched a new website called, The Hunted Child, which was a program to protect children from molestors and predators. Announcements went out about the new program. On the day of the launching, Mr. Rogers had contacted the newspapers and the launch day was greeted with another front page story stating that Rogers wanted MVCC out and that “the property can be used for more viable purposes.”  On the School District website, he stated that it would be better to let the school stand empty until a more profitable use comes in. Do pro-life conservatives deserve the freedoms of our Constitution?  At least one liberal Democrat Senator says they don't.

At a recent Planned Parenthood rally to keep its hands in taxpayer's pocketbooks, New Jersey Senator Frank Lautenberg said that "Planned Parenthood is under attack by Tea Party Republicans who have put their extremist ideology above women's health".  He then went a step further and, referring to pro-life counter-protestors, stated: "These people don't deserve the freedoms in the Constitution!"

New Jersey pro-life activist Marie Tasy suggested that such comments provide "evidence of how Planned Parenthood and its supporters actually feel."

She went on:

“This statement is shameful coming from a U.S. Senator,” Tasy added. “Lautenberg made these remarks surrounded by Planned Parenthood employees, supporters and state lawmakers who applauded him. These remarks are absolutely shameful and need to be exposed.”

Exactly.

The rally itself was part of Planned Parenthood's campaign involving a pink bus that's been traveling the country to drum up support for keeping their tens of millions of dollars in taxpayer funding in place.  This from an organization that has, as Tasy pointed out, been caught on tape engaging in criminal activity, (including aiding and abetting in the sex trafficking of minor girls).

Gallup has a new survey out which shows that, in terms of partisan affiliation, the number of "solid" Democrats states is down by half since they conducted a similar survey in 2008.  The same survey also showed the number of "competitive" states almost doubling.

They point out that every state (including the District of Columbia) now has fewer people identifying themselves as Democrats, or even independents who "lean" Democrat.  Interestingly, the greatest percentages of declines came in Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine and Hawaii.  Hawaii aside, those others represent the north-eastern states where Republicans had been becoming a rare species.

In terms of numbers, "solid" Democrats states went from 30 in 2008 down to 14 today, while competitive states went from 10 up to 18.
