Moses

This Generation’s Battle

Exodus 17 tells how Amalekites, descendants of Esau’s grandson, attacked the children of Israel in the desert of Sinai during their exodus from Egypt. This unprovoked attack was especially serious and the Israelites battled all day, only achieving victory at nightfall.

In response to this demonstration of cruelty, the Lord told Moses that he would blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. Moses later recounted: “the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation” (Exodus 17:16). Amalek’s attack on the children of Israel was now a perpetual war between him and the God of Israel.

Finding Hope in the Faithfulness of God

President Obama, No Biblical Confirmation of Palestinian State on Israeli Soil

The land was deeded to Israel in an eternal covenant by the eternal G-d, the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  When will the Christian nation of America with its professed Christian president stop pushing Israel in a direction that is contrary to G-d’s Word?  Nothing in G-d’s Word says there will ever be a Palestinian state on Israeli soil.  Seeking an answer to the above question, I forwarded a letter to President Barak Obama and I’d like to share that letter with those who follow my writings.  The fact is that the Eternal

G-d of the universe made an eternal covenant with Israel for the land of Israel and not with the Palestinians.

The Youngest Yet The Oldest

This year in May Israel marked her 65th birthday.  As we celebrated the birthday of America’s most valued friend and ally in the Middle East, we also reflected upon the miracle of Israel’s birth.  This 65th birthday makes it among the youngest nations on earth, but also one of the oldest.
