The James Rosen incident is indicative of a trend, in recent years, of chipping away at First Amendment rights. In the Rosen case, the Justice Department claimed that it did not violate the press freedom of the Fox News Correspondent  as he isn’t press. Instead, the DOJ argued, he was an “aider and abettor and/or co-conspirator” in a spy ring for having receiving classified information about North Korea from an intelligence analyst.

Evidence of Rosen’s spying consisted of an e-mail to Rosen’s source stating that he wanted to break “news ahead of my competitors” and that they could “expose muddle-headed policy when we see it—or force the administration’s hand to go in the right direction, if possible.”

While the U.S. was still reeling from the devastation caused by the Boston bombing and before it was known who was responsible for the act, there were those on the left who assumed, even hoped, that it was an act of right-wing terrorism.  When their hopes were dashed, they took a detour from grieving for the victims and began instead to focus on, as they imagined it, the probability of backlash against Muslim Americans. Apparently, they anticipated a string of retributive attacks against Muslim Americans. These speculators tend to be very selective about which victims deserve their attention and empathy.  And, their ideology is based on the belief that “Islamophobia” like its cohort, racism, is a prevalent force in the world.

In December, I reported on the move by the federal government to replace traditional curriculum with government information documents. This is part of the trend towards the centralization of education, which has resulted in parents and teachers having less impact on what goes on in the classroom while the federal government’s control is expanded. One of the main concerns regarding the government information documents is the high potential for a politicized curriculum.

Add to that the revisionist history being taught in some classrooms, along with the the promotion of one religion over another.

An example of this can be found in the Texas Education Service Center Curriculum collaborative (TESCCC) and its company, CSCOPE, a major producer of curriculum used in the Texas education system.  A report shows that CSCOPE has portrayed participants in the Boston Tea Party as terrorists and is also accused of having developed an anti-Christian, pro-Islam curriculum.

I finally get it. He walks like a Muslim and talks like a Christian. Barack is bisecular. That's what you are when you say you believe in everything but adhere to the tenets of nothing. There's no strong convictions either way. Barack just does what's necessary to survive - politically and authoritatively. How nice.

Don't believe me? Then you probably voted Democrat in the last presidential election. But that's okay - we all make mistakes.

America was founded upon Biblical Principles, no matter what the liberals say. Because the new country from the beginning was governed by these principles, with the church being a vital part of American life, an astonished world watched the young country quickly become a major world power with a strong economy.

People from around the world immigrated here to enjoy the opportunities, freedom of religion and education that could only be found in America. As immigrants came, atheism began to arise, Marxists slipped in quietly to change the nation of freedom into a socialist state while working to destroy the church and Christianity.

The United States became a mortar and pestle to grind and crush morals and ethics. Increasing attempts to change our form of government rose from the debris as multiplying muslims have taken root with the demand that Islam and Sharia Law become dominent in The United States, replacing all others.

Ironically, the grateful immigrants coming here immediately worked to re-shape this country into the very country from which they escaped because of the oppression of the people there.

Under the direction of Lt. Colonel Timothy Vaughn, Commander of The Army Cadets of California, a 10th Anniversary Observance of the 9-11 Attacks on America was held last Sunday at Crockett Park in Oakley, California with a military folding-of-the-flag ceremoney.

The flag was presented to an individual who accepted it on behalf of all Americans who were affected by the cowardly surprise Muslim attacks on unarmed civilians in New York City, Washington, D.C. and an intended one that ended in a field in Pennsylvania after the Muslims were overpowered by passengers on Flight 93 airmed at hitting either The White House or The Capitol Building in D.C.. That plane crashed in a field..Everyone on board were killed. Had it not been for the heroic actions of the passengers, that death toll would have been much higher.

This ceremony in Oakley was one of the only flag folding ceremonies that explained what each fold meant. Following that beautiful ceremony a man stated that he had two such flags that were presented to him, but this was the first time that he learned what the 13 folds meant.  For that reason, we are sharing this with our readers.

When the attacks first happened, it unleashed in all of us every emotion known…anger…rage…a sense of helplessnes…loss…fear…and a passion for revenge. Every emotion that could be explained was present that day and still remains.

Then a word came to mind; Forgiveness. Can we really forgive those who caused such horrific deaths of innocent people? As I struggled with this idea, I had to ask what Jesus would do…and what the Bible says.

I do know that we are instructed to love all. Can we get past the bitter feelings of the attack to love them enough for them to realize that they have been deceived by their religious leaders?

Do we love them enough to talk to them about God and the truth?

Can we show enough love to desire their salvation? THAT is what my own particular role must be.

As for forgiveness, that means releasing those feelings of anger from ourselves and putting it all into God’s hands. Harboring bitter feelings will only hurt us and our health if we allow that stress to become a part of us.

We must move past that. Also, we must have a wisdom to deal firmly with those who would harm us or try to destroy us by severely stopping them.

The Bible does not require that we just lie down and let our enemies do to us what they will. It DOES require that we LOVE our enemies enough to want to see their salvation and spared from hell.
