California AG Bows Under Pressure

California Attorney-General turns against Prop 8

SAN FRANCISCO - California's attorney general has changed his position on the state's new same-sex marriage ban and is now joining forces with homosexual activists to overturn the results of Proposition 8.

Gay activist in New Jersey forces gay agenda

Not content to just live life as they choose, one single gay man has forced eHarmony to provide a gay dating service to their site. This should trouble anyone who cherishes our freedoms and liberties. eHarmony is a private owned business, and receives no tax dollars nor does it have a tax exempt status. Yet, one angry and misguided individual has found an equally misguided activist Attorney General in New Jersey, to compel eHarmony to take this ridiculous action against their will. Just as California is still under assault by a vocal and militant minority because a majority of voters said no to gay marriage, one person has forced a private company to succumb to political correctness and surrender it’s legal right to operate how they see fit. Forget the moral or political implications of this issue. This should trouble all of us, for our majority vote now means nothing, if about 2% of the population can force the other 98% to embrace their ridiculous and godless agenda.

Suit forces eHarmony to offer gay dating service

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Online dating service eHarmony has agreed to create a new website for gays and lesbians as part of a settlement with a gay man in New Jersey, the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General said on Wednesday.

The website will provide a dating service with "male seeking a male" or "female seeking a female" options, the Attorney General's office said in a statement.

eHarmony said it will launch the new same-sex dating site, named "Compatible Partners," by March 31.

The settlement was the result of a discrimination complaint filed by Eric McKinley against eHarmony in 2005, which will be dismissed under the settlement agreement.

eHarmony was founded in 2000 by evangelical Christian Dr. Neil Clark Warren and had ties with the influential religious conservative group Focus on the Family.

The New Jersey complaint is not the only legal action to be brought against eHarmony for failing to provide a same-sex option.

Stop It...Just Stop It

Stop it…Just stop it

Could you please help clear some things up?

I have a different opinion from you, however, I'll show you respect if you do the same for me. I am in fact a Christian, but I find that prayer and reading te Bible is just generating more questions. I've prayed for the Holy Spirit to guide me,and it's told me that there's something wrong with how unaccepting we can be. How judgemental and harsh we can be when we ourselves are just as bad and undeserving of the forgiveness we are given. Anyway, here are just a few questions that I've come up with:

Protection of Marriage

I believe the biggest threat to marriage is divorce, not homosexuals seeking marriage rights. I wish this organization would take action to outlaw divorce or at least make it possible only after one year of intense couples therapy. Any thoughts?
