Amerika: A liberal Molestation

There once was a time, when a man knew his place, he was to work hard for his family, protect his wife and children with his life, if that meant he would have to trade in his mortality, done. The woman knew her place as well, she was to nurture her children, and make the home a place where a man could rest after dealing with the cruel cynical world and know that no matter how daunting it could be, he was loved. Of course there was more to it than that, but the structure was simple and defined. Families trusted in the lord above, as our founders did, and they overcame.

In 1775 a movement of spirited men decided they would no longer simply exist under the oppressive thumb of a tyrant or a corrupt overbearing government and they revolted, this was the revolutionary war. Under the care of a God, and guided by the words of the Holy Bible, these men would go on to create a country that was second to none, America. Our founders were not inspired by Allah, Buddha, or some humanistic higher power, they were moved by the Lord, Jesus Christ. This young Nation was guided by Christianity and its children built a republic inspired by the belief that the Ten Commandments made sense. read more »

I am a new member to this fine organization and much of the subject matter is deserving of well thought out discussion and also insight from so many that may be wary of publishing their opinion on a given subject. I have been making posts and comments as I am able.

The Second Amendment is truly near and dear to my heart. I believe our legislators instituted this amendment to ensure the government would not be able to simply run over its constituents and that Americans may protect their homes, families, and property. Throughout history we see cases where a nation disarmed becomes a weaker and even less safe nation. I will not post them here, but all should have a look at crime statistics here in the US as well as abroad after private gun ownership is banned. We as a people have the right to defend ourselves.

I look forward to encouragement and debate over this issue.

IS POLITICAL FREEDOM FACTIBLE IF YOU DON'T HAVE FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE, TOO? 

I wish I were wrong, but I'm certain I am not, and will continue to be certain unless someone proves me that I'm dead wrong. But please don't use farfetched arguments or your selective perception of reality to feel comfortable in the phantasy world of "Wonderland". Moeover, before evluating the above issue, please answer yourself each one of the following questions:
