American Support for Israel - A complicated matter?

A retired Army General and former high ranking official in the Obama Administration, recently spoke at a well-known American university. During the questions following his remarks he was asked by a student why “25% of US Foreign Aid goes to Israel.” The General stumbled around and gave no real answer other than “It’s complicated.”

What he did not say was that the premise of the question was wrong to start with because the percentage of US Foreign Aid to Israel is nowhere near 25%.

Lindsey Graham speaks to the Christian Coalition on the need for maintaining a strong national defense as we look for ways to more efficiently manage our national military budget.

Obama Not Serious About Immigration Reform

At least, Senator Marco Rubio, the Republican Cuban-American from Florida  --  who is leading in most of the 2016 Republican presidential national polls  --  is putting his political career on the line as a member of the Senate immigration reform group called the “Gang of Eight” which is routinely condemned by a lot of conservatives.  On the other hand, the president  --  who does not have to run for reelection again  --  is “hiding under his desk” (Bill O’Reilly’s description of those people unwilling to come on his Fox News show to debate him) with regards to serious immigration reform.

GOP Should Let Obama Veto ObamaCare Defunding Multiple Times

As usual, the RINO (Republicans In Name Only) wing of their national party  --  and their comrades in the establishment media, such as Bill O’Reilly on Fox News  --  have given up on defunding ObamaCare.  Their argument is that the president won reelection and it is time to acknowledge that fact.

What is it about what the Founding Fathers  --  and about what the Constitution  --  gave this great country that the establishment does not understand?  The People’s House, i.e. the United States House of Representatives, is supposed to be the most powerful part of government.

Tea Party Should Support the Ryan Budget

Since the new federal budget was introduced this week by the young conservative chairman of the House of Representatives Budget Committee, Congressman Paul D. Ryan, Republican from Wisconsin, there has been a lot of discussion in conservative circles  --  especially amongst Tea Party supporters  --  on whether or not the Ryan budget is conservative enough and balances the budget fast enough.

The fact that the Ryan budget would take between 25 and 30 years to balance the gargantuan federal budget gave this author  --  who, when a congressional chief of staff, saw this rising Republican star when he was a very young snot-nosed legislative aide to Congressman (now governor) Sam Brownback, R-KS, and who was highly impressed with Paul Ryan from the beginning   --  some pause.

The GOP Budget and America's Future

The president's budget gives more power to bureaucrats, takes more from taxpayers to fuel the expansion of government, and commits our nation to a future of debt and decline.

New debt chart shows US per-capita debt higher than Greece

Senator Jeff Sessions (R-Alabama) has released a new chart that compares the relative per-capita national debt placed upon citizens of the most indebted nations of the world.

The surprise (to some)?  That US citizens ALREADY have the highest per-capital national debt load in the world.  Higher even that Greece, which, as anyone who has been watching the news for the past year would know, has been going through a horrific debt crisis as a result of not being able to borrow more more to repay the money it has already borrowed...because the people they want to borrow it from (prospective bond buyers, etc.), don't believe they will be able to pay the money back.

How long before bond investors start to believe that about the United States?

Sessions released a statement which merits repeating here.  It offers his take on the debt - and the lastest Obama administration budget - as follows:

Out-of-the-Box Thinking for an Out-of-Control Budget

Certainly the $1.6 trillion dollar budget must not only be reigned in, but people must think “out-of-the-box”.  The money can be easily cut, but too many are worried about an item’s ‘priority’. Budget shortfall would not exist at all if simple priorities were changed.

The United Nations and their >$3 billion/year budget from America is the first. The UN has had a history of anti-American activity. Groups such as Amnesty International, Doctors Without Borders, Oxfam, Greenpeace, and many others, seek to influence daily UN decisions.

The UN has stated aborting the young is a ‘right’, and wants mandated population reduction. That, when population will undergo a precipitous freefall by 2050 due to the decline below the 2.1 child/woman ‘wall’ necessary for maintaining existing population. Or The Iraq Oil-for-food Scandal, with the UN complicit in $113 billion paid to Hussein.

Video explanation of Obama's proposed budget "cuts"

There's a wonderful new video out that offers a simple, easy to understand visualization of President Obama's proposed "cuts" to the federal budget.  It demonstrates how ridiculously insignificant and insincere they truly are.

Take a moment and help educate others by promoting a link to this page, or forwarding it to others via email.
