History Curriculum Backed by CAIR and Muslim Brotherhood

In December, I reported on the move by the federal government to replace traditional curriculum with government information documents. This is part of the trend towards the centralization of education, which has resulted in parents and teachers having less impact on what goes on in the classroom while the federal government’s control is expanded. One of the main concerns regarding the government information documents is the high potential for a politicized curriculum.

Add to that the revisionist history being taught in some classrooms, along with the the promotion of one religion over another.

An example of this can be found in the Texas Education Service Center Curriculum collaborative (TESCCC) and its company, CSCOPE, a major producer of curriculum used in the Texas education system.  A report shows that CSCOPE has portrayed participants in the Boston Tea Party as terrorists and is also accused of having developed an anti-Christian, pro-Islam curriculum.

And, though by law the curriculum is supposed to be accessible to parents, according to the Texas CSCOPE Review:

YOUR THOUGHTS and OPINIONS are being manipulated...

and it is being done in ways that are subtle but to the knowing person, it is an outrage.  I have personally observed and talked at length with people in the movie and film industry.  I have two decades of background experience in news media and television. Based on my experience and observation, there are certain techniques used by the media to slant and color your thoughts and opinions without you being aware of what is happening.  A recent example is last night's 60 Minutes interview with Governor Mitt Romney and President Barack Hussein Obama.

Regular readers of my articles here know that I co-host a weekly, hour-long radio program called “Front Page Jerusalem.” This program is broadcast on stations across the United States and around the world. It provides news and commentary about Israel, is produced in Jerusalem, and is giving millions of people factual news about Israel.

The purpose of “Front Page Jerusalem” is to give the world news about Israel without the anti-Israel bias that permeates most of the international media. Our mission is to communicate the truth about Israel in the face of the deceitful untruths or half-truths propagated elsewhere. While the world media often paint Israelis as heartless villains, “Front Page Jerusalem” truthfully reveals Israelis to be people of strong character and high moral values who love life — all life.

Digital Destruction

The evening news and American pop culture cinema, what do they have in common? They both are sensationalistic, disturbing, and more appropriately, not for children. The last movie I saw, through the spaces of my fingers that is, was The Last House on the Left. My brother talked me into going and restrained me several times from leaving, it was too violent and explicit. In the beginning of the film a young girl was violently raped, you could see it coming like a slow motion car wreck. The young lady in the movie portrayed an underage beauty, the camera panned her entire figure as she playfully joked around with her girlfriend, her clothes dangling off her fully developed body.

They accentuated her sexuality, clothing it will juvenile naivety.; it was enough to make the old men feel like perverts and the young ones shamefully not look away as she was assaulted. The victim's girlfriend tried to stop the rape and was violently impaled by the thrust of a giant hunting knife, she took an agonizingly long time to die, it truly rattled me, I had to keep telling myself that it was just a movie. I think it was this movie that motivated me to vow not to let my daughter watch anything more controversial than the animal channel.
