President Obama took another step forward in his pro-abortion agenda recently by removing Bush administration protections for doctors and hospitals who refuse to perform abortions.  The regulations were put in place after reports of increasing pressure on those in the medical profession to do abortions in spite of federal laws that are supposed to prohibit such violations of conscience.

The abortion rights crowd claim that it inhibits a womans "right" to an abortion if a doctor has a "right" to avoid performing one because or reasons of religion or conscience.  Which essentially makes abortion a "right" of greater importance than religious freedom.  Despite which one of the two are actually in the Constitution.

Obama's HHS officials are proposing to rescind the rule in its entirety.

Opponents of Barack Obama during the presidential campaign warned the independents and other fence sitters that the administration of Obama would be the most radical in history, not only in the realm of economics, but possibly in the foreign policy area, and most definitely in the realm of social issues policy.

Barack Obama has fulfilled those predictions in the space of the first few weeks of his administration and has already become the most radical pro-abortion president in American history. The latest evidence of this occurred today when an amendment to the pork-filled nearly half trillion FY09 Omnibus bill -- which Obama promised to sign with close to 9,000 pork projects and which would protect the pro-life Kemp-Kasten Amendment, in place since 1985 -- failed in the Senate by a vote of 39-55.

Barack Obama's Deputy Attorney General nominee, David Ogden - lawyer for the Pornography business wherein he protected pedophiles - has hearings in the United States Senate yesterday.

Incredibly, Barack Obama nominated as his Deputy Attorney General, an attorney named David Ogden, who represented Playboy Enterprises in muliple cases, Penthouse Magazine, the ACLU, and the largest distributor of hard-core pornography videos.  He even has opposed filters on library computers protecting children from Internet pornography.  He has protected pedophiles in that he has argued in favor of pornographers who produce pornographic material using underage children.  Ogden will report to Attorney General Eric Holder - in an already thoroughly discredited Obama Justice Department - an individual who played a key role as Bill Clinton's Deputy Attorney General in getting pardons for terrorists at the end of the Clinton Administration.

Obama's nominee for Solicitor General, Elena Kagan, is a radical leftist who fought against the United States' military recruiting and ROTC on America's college and high school campuses - Incredibly, she is being considered for the U.S. Supreme Court

Senator Jim DeMint sponsors amendment to Obama "stimulus" bill, with co-sponsor Senator Sam Brownback, which deletes the prohibition of grant money from being spent on facilities that are used for "sectarian instruction, religious worship, or a school or department of divinity, or in which a substantial portion of the functions are subsumed in a religious mission" - DeMint Amend. Examples of pork and non-stimulus items in Obama's "stimulus" bill includes $50 million for the National Endowment for the Arts which has funded works such as "Piss Christ", $45 million for fish passage barriers and ATV trails, $2 billion for national parks, $1.2 billion for "youth activities", $448 million for a new Dept. of Homeland Security headquarters, $850 million for Amtrak

Senate Republicans continue to challenge the pork-filled Obama "stimulus" bill now bloated up to $930 Billion ($110 Billion more than the House bill which received NO Republican votes last week; with interest, bill will balloon to some $1.4 TRILLION) - Democrats continue to defeat Republican-sponsored amendments to kill hundreds of BILLIONS of dollars of non-stimulus, pork-filled items in the Obama bill

Barack Obama signs Executive Order abolishing President Ronald Reagan's Mexico City Policy which prohibited international groups  -  such as the infamous Planned Parenthood International  -  which do abortions or promote abortions, from receiving American taxpayers' money.

Late last Friday, was the new president hiding from Americans the fact that more unborn babies will die because he decided to do away with President Ronald Reagan's Mexico City Policy since the White House released a press release late on Friday night?  Not many newspaper readers or television viewers notice news items on Saturday mornings.

Barack Obama's Treasury Secretary nominee, Timothy Geithner  --  who did not pay his Social Security and Medicare taxes in 2001-2003  --  is confirmed by Democrat-controlled United States Senate

On Monday, the United States Senate confirmed Timonty Geithner as Secretary of the Treasury -- the 3rd most important member of the President's cabinet -- an individual who did not pay Social Security and Medicare taxes during the time he worked at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in 2001, 2002, and 2003. Yet, he will be responsible for the agency, the Internal Revenue Service, which collects delinquent taxes from other Americans.
