Barack Obama

The March Towards FOCA Has Begun

President-elect Barack Obama is wasting no time getting his radical pro-abortion policies implemented.

It was going to be expected that Obama would begin taking action at the Executive level to enact measures to make abortion more widespread and more easily attained.  But, he is beginning the process of making way for these radical changes even before he first steps foot into the Oval Office.  The reviews are underway regarding President Bush's abortion policies, and Obama's minions are already studying the ways to make his disastrous reversals of policy, once the hour finally arrives for him to be able to do so.

More from FoxNews.com:

President-elect Barack Obama is looking to reverse a regulation being finalized this week by the outgoing Bush administration that allows health care providers to refuse participation in any practice they object to on moral grounds, The Wall Street Journal reports.

The regulation establishes a "right of conscience" that gives medical staff the right to refuse abortions and other health care as well.

The Obama team is reviewing a wide range of Bush measures, including other reproductive-health issues, environmental and labor rules and defense spending, that it plans to reverse, officials close to the transition told the newspaper.

Be Careful What You Wish For

Sometimes it's interesting to get a perspective from the outside-in, with regards to the many issues our nation faces on the international front.

That is exactly what is presented in today's UK Daily Mail Online as it pertains to President-elect Obama's tough job ahead in terms of American foreign policy.

With barely time to savour his triumph, Barack Obama has been confronted with various international crises to test his mettle.

The U.S. President-elect faces threats from Russia, Israel and Afghanistan as it emerged his election team's computers were hacked by a 'foreign entity' during the election.

Officials at the FBI and the White House believe the hackers sought to gather information on the evolution of both his and Senator John McCain's policy positions with the idea of using that information in negotiations with the next administration.

Obama technical experts later speculated the hackers were Russian or Chinese, and security ended the intrusion, Newsweek reported.

If there is one thing that is becoming abundantly clear, it is that the foes of America throughout this world are going to waste little to no time in testing the new President-elect Obama.

Thoughts on the debate

First off, this was a joke of a "town-hall" format. Since when is a town-hall pre-packaged by a moderator? The questions hand selected...

The best questions of this debate were the ones that did NOT get asked.

No questions about abortion...gay marriage...second amendment...William Ayers... Since Brokaw chose the questions, one can only assume he didn't want to get any that would put Bambi on the spot with those nasty "cultural issues"...(since he figures they don't matter anyway).

Luntz focus group: who did you relate to? more Obama. But that Mac did better on the economy (?)

The CNN focus group...(they're "openminded"...heh)...they didn't hear enough specifics...who won? 10 Mac...12 for Bambi... (oooh, almost didn't stuff the audience enough).

CNN's poll: 38% dem, 3% GOP: who did best job? Obama. (well, as Gomer Pyle would say, "surprise, surprise, surprise!)

Mike Murphy says McCain did a better job of connecting w/people in this debate than in the last one.

Are there any re-runs of the VP debate on?

Voters regardless of political affiliation

August 29, 2008

Voters, regardless of party affiliation, must insist on righteous men to govern our nation. The more man thinks to do anything well by his own wisdom, and not as God instructs him, the more he proves himself to be a vile beast. We wouldn’t hire a thief to work in a bank and neither should we elect a candidate that doesn’t stand for righteousness sake. Man cannot make promises concerning the future without acknowledging God. Take care of the words you listen to, as all intend well, but it’s the obedience to God that defines him, not his popularity, education or life’s experiences. If change is truly on the hearts of the American people, then they must remember Israel and how they went about achieving it. Israel repented of their wickedness and then got in line with God. Take heed America!

Obama on Gay Rights--What he Did Not Tell Pastor Rick Warren's Church

This has got to be the biggest story in this election cycle that has
NOT been told yet. Most Americans seem unaware that Senator Obama
endorses an extreme homosexual rights agenda. For the most part, the
only groups that seem to be aware of this are the gays. Try a simple
Google search for "Obama LGBT Rights" and you'll see what I mean.
Dozens of gay groups, including some with large followings, are openly
celebrating Obama's candidacy, while many conservative, pro-family or
Christian organizations are seemingly unaware of Obama's stand on these
issues.

Obama has said that he favors "traditional marriage," and wants to allow states to define marriage (He stated this before Pastor Rick Warren's Church recently).
Obama has also stated that he prefers civil unions as an alternative
for same-sex couples. To some voters, these positions may sound
reasonable, but when you look more closely at Obama's stand, it is
clear that his views are radical. Make no mistake about it, Obama is
not a moderate on gay rights or the same-sex marriage issue. If Obama
is elected, we will see a concerted effort to push through sweeping
legislation to ban discrimination against gay, lesbian, transgender and
bisexual persons ("LGBT) and to grant same-sex couples full marriage
rights under Federal law. Obama has also promised to use the
presidential "bully pulpit" to urge states to pass laws allowing
same-sex couples to adopt children.

Obama and Mail Order Brides for Gays

Obama and Mail Order Brides for Gays

In case you haven't heard, the "politically correct" way to talk about
gay rights these days is to use the term "LGBT" rights. Short for
"lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender," these groups are
enthusiastically supporting Obama's candidacy. No Democratic nominee
has ever promised them so much. Among other things, Obama is advocating
a massive rewrite of Federal law to grant over a thousand rights to
same sex-couples--all the same rights that male-female married couples
currently enjoy under Federal law.

This sweeping overhaul of Federal law promises to be a huge
undertaking. So many Federal laws would be involved that even the
Government Accountability Office ("GAO") is not sure how many would
have to be changed. In a 2004 letter on this topic, a top lawyer in the
GAO wrote that "we cannot guarantee that we have captured every
individual law in the United States Code in which marital status
figures" (Read GAO report).

This web of legal rights tells us something about America. Sure, our
legal system is cumbersome and complicated (and I'm a lawyer talking!).
But this complexity represents a reality much deeper than just
government red-tape and over-regulation. It shows how our society
values family relationships. Marriage has always been as American as
"apple pie."
