Capitalism and Christianity

 I believe the Bible makes it clear that every person is incredibly worthy in God's economy. I think it is capitalism that affords the individual with the best opportunity to realize his or her worth according to God's will.
 In capitalism and/or free enterprise system, every person has the opportunity to become his or her best. Whatever a person inherently is endowed with can become more under capitalism.
 In capitalism, a person can earn his or her own way. While capitalism does not promise equal outcomes (and neither does the Lord), it does offer equal opportunity and with opportunity anything is possible according to the will of God.
With capitalism's emphasis on the individual, a person must rely on self and God in order to have his or her needs met. Socialism sees the state as sovereign. Consequently, a person comes to rely on the state to have his or her needs met and God need never enter the equation.
 Leviticus 19:9-10 When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest.Do not go over your vineyard a second time or pick up the grapes that have fallen.
