“Sooner, rather than later.”  That’s when a leading Democrat in Congress says they will introduce the radical pro-abortion “Freedom of Choice Act” – a bill which would overturn all current state and federal restrictions on abortion.  No more waiting periods.  No more parental consent.  No more ban on partial-birth abortions.

When President Obama was campaigning for President, he let it be known in no uncertain terms what his position was on abortion.  Within minutes of taking the Oath of Office, the official White House website was changed to add language supporting pro-abortion policies.  Obama has appointed numerous liberals from pro-abortion organizations like Emily’s List and the National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) to critical positions in the government.

Opponents of Barack Obama during the presidential campaign warned the independents and other fence sitters that the administration of Obama would be the most radical in history, not only in the realm of economics, but possibly in the foreign policy area, and most definitely in the realm of social issues policy.

Barack Obama has fulfilled those predictions in the space of the first few weeks of his administration and has already become the most radical pro-abortion president in American history. The latest evidence of this occurred today when an amendment to the pork-filled nearly half trillion FY09 Omnibus bill -- which Obama promised to sign with close to 9,000 pork projects and which would protect the pro-life Kemp-Kasten Amendment, in place since 1985 -- failed in the Senate by a vote of 39-55.

Barack Obama signs Executive Order abolishing President Ronald Reagan's Mexico City Policy which prohibited international groups  -  such as the infamous Planned Parenthood International  -  which do abortions or promote abortions, from receiving American taxpayers' money.

Late last Friday, was the new president hiding from Americans the fact that more unborn babies will die because he decided to do away with President Ronald Reagan's Mexico City Policy since the White House released a press release late on Friday night?  Not many newspaper readers or television viewers notice news items on Saturday mornings.

Barack Obama signed an executive order -- with no fanfare after newspaper and television network deadlines had passed -- to do away with the Mexico City Policy which prohibited groups like Planned Parenthood International -- that do abortions or promote abortions -- from receiving American tax dollars.

Obama is moving quickly to make his pro-abortion supporters happy.  First, there was the change at the official whitehouse.gov site (within one minute of his inauguration) promoting support for Roe vs. Wade.  Now this.  From CBN:

President Barack Obama plans to sign an executive order ending the ban on federal funds for international groups that promote or perform abortions, officials told The Associated Press on Friday.

The move, long expected in the Democratic president's first week in office, will be welcomed by liberals and criticized by abortion rights foes.

President-elect Barack Obama is wasting no time getting his radical pro-abortion policies implemented. 

It was going to be expected that Obama would begin taking action at the Executive level to enact measures to make abortion more widespread and more easily attained.  But, he is beginning the process of making way for these radical changes even before he first steps foot into the Oval Office.  The reviews are underway regarding President Bush's abortion policies, and Obama's minions are already studying the ways to make his disastrous reversals of policy, once the hour finally arrives for him to be able to do so.

Is anyone out there?

 I have to wonder what is going on in the body of Christ, and more specifically with Church leadership. Things that used to bring us to our knees and cause our voices to rise in support of righteousness, now cause not even a small ripple effect.

On November 4th, a small majority of voters elected Barak Obama as the 44th President of the United States. Mr. Obama was definitely not my choice, and my reasons were many for opposing him. From his position on abortion, to gay marriage to the possibility of changing the makeup of the Supreme Court, his candidacy troubled me greatly, and now after the election I am even more troubled. So what should my response now be according to scripture?

I can remember a day when this issue seemed to be at the forefront, but now appears to have taken a backseat to economic and the war on terror.  Is the reason why this has been placed on the back burner is because the major news media and the Democratic Party realize that they are on the losing side of this issue?   Or could it be that the conservative movement has lost its fire for this issue and have given it over to the media?  I truly believe that this issue must once again be a rallying cry for the conservative movement to help unify our movement and the vision we have for it.  For this is an issue which God himself stands with us on.  What will it take to bring this to the forefront of our movement?  I am not sure, but I pray that there are men and women who are willing to ri
