[1]The most important vote in decades is expected to be decided in the U.S. Senate as early as this Saturday when ObamaCare, the socialized medicine legislation, could come up for a roll call vote.
Because the Senate's ObamaCare bill pushed back implementation of the major provisions until 2014, it is important that you, your family and your friends understand the true cost of 10 years of implementation - $2.5 trillion.
The question is simply this: Will America leave its roots and give up much of the freedom bestowed on Americans by our Founders by turning to socialism? That is exactly what the United States Senate will be voting on this coming Saturday when the Democrats attempt to begin debate on ObamaCare.
The left-wing Democratic leadership will be trying to bring to the Senate floor the Obamacare bill which was cooked up by a handful of White House officials and Democratic leader Harry Reid behind closed doors for several weeks without the input of a single Republican and with no transparency whatsoever!
It is imperative that you call both of your Senators today to prevent the U.S. government from taking over 1/6 of the U.S. economy. The 2008 election did not give the Democrat-controlled Congress and the president the mandate to install socialism in America! It is urgent that you call your 2 Senators today and to tell them to "Vote NO on the motion to proceed to debate the Senate Democrat healthcare bill!"

It is especially vital for your family and friends in the following states to make their feelings known on this defining vote of the 21st Century to: Senators Ben Nelson, Nebraska; Evan Bayh, Indiana; Blanche Lincoln, Arkansas; Mark Pryor, Arkansas; Mary Landrieu, Louisiana; Joe Lieberman, Connecticut; Claire McCaskill, Missouri; Mark Warner, Virginia, Robert Byrd, West Virginia, and even the Senate Majority Leader himself, Harry Reid from Nevada.
The battle is not over yet.
Democrat Majority Leader Reid took out the pro-life amendment put into the House bill by Democrat Congressman Bart Stupak which overwhelmingly passed by the margin of 240-194 with 60 Democrats voting for it. Over 70% of the American people do not want to fund abortions. And 75% of the American people are satisfied with the health care which they are receiving.
The "motion to proceed to debate the Senate Democrat healthcare bill" must be defeated. If we can defeat this legislative move by the pro-abortion Democrats on Saturday, ObamaCare will probably be declared dead.
In other words, we can still stop this bill.
But you must call both of your Senators today! Many members of Congress are rightly worried about re-election if they continue to oppose the American people. But we must continue to speak out like never before and let them know how we feel.
