On Wednesday, the US Senate is likely to vote on whether or not to ratify a disturbing treaty – the “Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities” (CRPD).
Your Senators need to hear from you right away [1]. Let me explain.
This treaty contains language that requires signatory nations to “provide persons with disabilities…free or affordable health care including in the area of sexual and reproductive health and population-based health programs”.
In other words, it would be a global treaty that could force taxpayers to subsidize sterilizations and abortions.
This is yet another way that pro-abortion forces would work to keep abortion legal in the event that Roe vs. Wade were ever overturned.
This seems to be exactly what the Obama Administration has in mind, considering Hillary Clinton’s testimony that “reproductive health includes access to abortion”.
The United States already has strong legislation dealing with the rights of the disabled, but “internationalists” are using it as a cover to continue to push a radical pro-abortion agenda.
Again, it is likely that the Senate may take up the issue Wednesday or later, so please contact your US Senators as soon as possible and let them know that you OPPOSE ratification of this treaty.
