Christian Coalition of America Commends House of Representatives for Repeal of Obamacare Vote
Roberta Combs, president of the Christian Coalition of America, commends the House of Representatives for their vote this afternoon repealing ObamaCare. By a large bipartisan majority of 240 to 182, the House voted to repeal the president’s health care law, H.R. 6079.
Mrs. Combs said, “Americans cannot afford yet another entitlement program which will consume 1/6 of the American economy, especially when the other 3 major entitlement programs (Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security) will soon all be broke. Christian Coalition urges the Democrat-controlled Senate and Harry Reid to bring the House bill up for a vote in the Senate.“
The ObamaCare law has a whopping 21 tax increases and at least 12 of them will impose a huge burden on the middle class. The president promised that the middle class would not be hit-up with any new taxes if his health care legislation was passed into law. Not one Republican voted for ObamaCare in either the House of Representatives or in the Senate.
This November’s election will not only be about the huge unemployment in America and the continuing recession, but it will also be about which Members of Congress voted to repeal the ObamaCare monstrosity.
