In response to the Supreme Court’s decision on the Affordable Care Act, Christian Coalition of America President Roberta Combs stated the following:

“Unfortunately, the Supreme Court’s decision has completely unshackled the federal government of virtually any remaining limits on federal power over states and private individuals so long as Congress defines it as a ‘tax’.

“This was not what our Founding Fathers intended.

Citizenship Sunday - Host a Voter Registration Drive in Your Church

Statistics have shown that only about half of all self-identified Christians are actually registered, which means that they have no voice in our government.  Simply put, if we are going to be able to have an impact on the issues we care about, this must change!

US House Finds Eric Holder in Civil Contempt by 258-95 Vote

The United States House has passed House Resolution 706, finding Attorney General Eric Holder in civil contempt of Congress.

This vote comes on the heels of an earlier, unprecedented finding of contempt for Eric Holder on criminal grounds by a vote of 255-67, which marked the first time a sitting attorney general and presidential Cabinet member has been cited for contempt by the full House.

On the civil charges, the House voted 258-95 with 75 Did Not Votes and 5 voted Not Present.  There were 75 Democrats and 5 Republican House members who opted out of voting on the resolution... (READ MORE)


Why the Healthcare Battle is Far from Over

The U.S. Supreme Court's decision to uphold President Obama's healthcare reform law is redefining the race for the White House.

The day after the ruling, conservatives say the court's decision will awaken a sleeping giant once again -- the American voter.

Some Democrats seem to feel that after the high court's ruling, health care reform is a done deal and that no changes to the law will be necessary.
