“It Worked!” President Obama Proud of Failed Economic Policies


After 41 months with unemployment above eight percent, President Obama proudly told supporters at another campaign event this week that “we tried our plan — and it worked.”

It worked?

Was the president’s economic plan supposed to include “the longest streak … of unemployment of 8% or higher since the Great Depression?”  The 30 “worst months for employment in the past 25 years?”  Were people under 30 to be “desperately trying to find full time jobs?”  Was small business optimism supposed to tank?  Were millions of Americans supposed to be out of work for more than six months...? Obama Circumvents NC Lawakers to Fund Abortion

President Obama is coming under fire for funnelling more than $400,000 to Planned Parenthood in North Carolina.

The president has been an outspoken supporter for the nation's biggest abortion provider. But political observers say what makes this situation different is that he's intentionally trying to undermine a state legislature.

RPC Chairman Price's Statement on Latest CBO Score of the President’s Health Care Law

House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Tom Price, M.D. (R-GA) issued the following statement after the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released an updated cost estimate of the president’s health care law in the wake of the Supreme Court’s ruling. The gross cost of the bill is estimated at $1.683 trillion over 2012-2022 with 3 million fewer Americans receiving health care coverage.

“The latest score from the Congressional Budget Office shows that the president’s health care law remains a dramatic and expensive expansion of Washington control over the American people’s health care.” said Chairman Price.  “However, the nearly $1.7 trillion price tag and the taxes that will be imposed on individuals and businesses are only one part of the cost of this law.  What cannot be fully expressed in a CBO score is how the American people, under the president’s plan, will lose access to affordable, quality health care choices"...
