Why are the retro-feminists in the left-wing media, the National Organization of Women, and the abortion lobby, among other hysterics, militating so violently against Sarah Palin? It's because they value abortion-on-demand over every other subject on earth.

This "value" started in the late 1950s - before abortion became de rigueur - when the Food and Drug Administration approved the birth-control pill developed by Dr. John Rock and two collaborators. For the first time in human history, women had a measure of control over their fertility, which gave them a greater chance to pursue economic independence and escape bad marriages.

But in just a few years - aided by the even-then left-wing media...

Today, the leader of the Republicans in the United States House of Representatives announced that the House Republican Whip, Roy Blunt from Missouri, will represent the interests of the Republicans in the House whose views on the solutions to our current economic crisis are supported by the overwhelming majority of the American people.

The American people and the Republicans in the House of Representatives do not want bailouts for the incompetent executives and their companies on Wall Street or elsewhere; they do not want these executives being compensated for failure; the 93% of the American people who pay their mortgage payments on time do not want the irresponsible 7% who are not paying their mortgages to get a bail-out because they bought McMansions or were not in a...

According to yesterday's "The Washington Times," the state police Superintendent, Colonel W. Steven Flaherty, "requested" that his 17 police chaplains offer ONLY "nondenominational" prayers, i.e. effectively to NOT pray in the name of Jesus Christ. As a result, at least six of Colonel Flaherty's chaplains quit in protest for violating their First Amendment constitutional rights.

The Virginia House Republicans blasted the move by the state police superintendent as an attack on Christianity and a violation of the First Amendment rights of these chaplains. "The Washington Times" reported that one Republican delegate said chaplains were told they could no longer invoke the name of Jesus. House Majority Leader H. Morgan...

Christian Coalition of America commends the United States Congress, especially Senators Sam Brownback, R-KS, and Ted Kennedy, D-MA, for getting their "Pre-natally and Post-natally Diagnosed Conditions Awareness Act" passed by the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives. Yesterday, the House of Represenatives passed the Brownback-Kennedy bill, S. 1810. President George W. Bush is expected to sign the bill into law.

The fact that 90% of Down syndrome babies -- like other disabled babies -- are aborted, is a national disgrace. It is expected that this new law will save many babies from the gruesome death of abortion. The Brownback-Kennedy legislation will require that families who receive a diagnosis of Down syndrome or any...

The pro-family movement won victories in both the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives this week. On Tuesday, the Senate passed -- by a margin of 93-2 -- a giant tax package which saves more than 20 million taxpayers from having to pay the so-called alternative minimum tax. President George W. Bush has been trying all during his administration to make permanent his 2001 and 2003 tax cuts for American families, but a liberal majority in Congress have prevented these tax cuts from being made permanent.

Even liberal Democrat, Senator Max Baucus, the Senate Finance Committee Chairman from Montana, said that since the economy is struggling, "At times like these, Americans need tax cuts that they've come to count on, that can help...

The 110th Congress is noted for what it has not accomplished. In fact, it has been so unsuccessful in attending to the business of the American people, that it has a record-low 12% approval rating. However, just weeks before the November election, two Senators on the opposite ends of the political spectrum worked together and got a wonderful bill passed on Tuesday.

Senators Sam Brownback (R-KS) and Edward M. Kennedy (D-MA,) who is inflicted with a brain tumor, celebrated Senate passage of the "Prenatally and Postnatally Diagnosed Conditions Awareness Act." The Kennedy/Brownback legislation would require that families who receive a diagnosis of Down syndrome or any other condition, pre-natally or up until a year after birth, be given up-to-date information...

In just a few days, clergy in some 35 churches all over America, will exercise their First Amendment rights and speak about specific presidential candidates, about their stances on important pro-family issues such as abortion and the need to uphold traditional marriage between one man and one woman and other similar topics, and will make recommendations on who to vote for right from their pulpits.

American clergy have been bullied by left-wing groups for over 50 years since Senator Lyndon Baines Johnson passed his amendment in 1954 to silence America's clergy about candidates from their pulpits, mainly to get even with his political foes and to gain an advantage in his election. The Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) has been working tirelessly on this issue for years....
