In today's "The Washington Times," Greg Pierce in his "Inside Politics" column, quoted a couple news analysts saying before the Tuesday's election in which Barack Obama beat Senator John McCain by 6 points, that America is still a "center-right nation."  Jon Meacham, the liberal "Newsweek" editor in a story labeled 'America the Conservative' warned that "[s]hould Obama win, he will have to govern a nation that is more instinctively conservative than it is liberal."

The editor of "The New Republic," John B. Judis, took great umbrage over Mr. Meacham's remarks on his website.  And Mr. Judis criticized the comments of a fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, Peter Wehner, for saying:  "...

Three days which will live in infamy for all time to come in American history:  December 7, 1941, September 11, 2001 and November 4, 2008.  These are tragic days for America which came about mainly because of failure of American leadership and with regards to the last date, mostly because of the failure of a large part of the American people.

December 7, 1941 was, of course, the day for which American leadership was entirely unprepared for the surprise attack on Pearl Habor, Hawaii.  Most living Americans lived through the surprise attack by Islamic terrorists on America on September 11, 2001 which was mostly due to the failed leadership of the Clinton Administration and partly due to the Bush Administration, which to be fair was only in its first few months of governing when 9...

On Fox News today, the head of the Senate campaign committee, Senator Charles Schumer, Democrat from New York, endorsed the "Fairness Doctrine" for radio, just as the Democrat Chairman of the Senate Rules Committee, Diane Feinstein did last year, as well as a Senate Republican leader, Dick Durbin from Illinois.  Senator Schumer was saying just as Fox News claims to be "fair and balanced," America needs a "fair and balanced" talk radio playing field.
