The conservatives and pro-gun moderates in the United States House of Representatives yesterday overwhelmngly passed a bill to protect the Second Amendment rights of the people of the District of Columbia in line with the decision by the Supreme Court wiping out the onerous gun control laws passed by the left-wingers in the nation's capital. The bill -- entitled the "Second Amendment Enforcement Act" and passed after the D.C. Council passed a very weak gun rights bill for their citizens -- was defended yesterday by President George W. Bush's press secretary, Dana Perino. In her statement she said:

The President strongly supports the Second Amendment Enforcement Act, which the...

It doesn't take a rocket scientist or even an abortion opponent of a pitbull with lipstick from Alaska to know that commonsense abortion restriction laws save lives, not only the lives of the innocent unborn children, but sometimes the young girls who are being forced or persuaded to have abortions. And parental involvement laws do save lots of lives.

Presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama and vice presidential candidates Sarah Palin and Joe Biden need to be asked during the upcoming debates their positions on parental involvement laws regarding abortion.

Dr. Michael New reported in LifeNews.com today that pro-lifer voters should insist that candidates for office support pro-life parental-involvement laws. Dr. New said: "Such laws enjoy...

Sometimes, the Davids win victories against the Goliaths and the Good News Clubs won a great victory over the radicals in the education establishment and their comrades in the ranks of the ACLU-types; the Anti-God types, etc. Recently, a federal court ruled against a school district in Williamsburg, Virginia, and in favor of the Child Evangelism Fellowship of Virginia (CEF) and the CEF's Good News Clubs.

The Liberty Counsel reported that the Williamsburg school district "will rewrite its policy and pay more than $20,000 in damages. We told school officials before we filed the lawsuit that their policy was unconstitutional. They refused, so we filed suit and they learned the hard way that the First Amendment forbids religious discrimination. We are grateful to...

A very hot topic in Washington D.C. -- with the pro-abortion left controlling Congress -- is the subject of the right of health care workers to not have anything to do with abortion, whatsoever, because their consciences do not permit them to do so. All decent and fair-minded Americans should be on the side of these health care workers who want nothing to do with the murder of innocent unborn children. Indeed, since the most infamous Supreme Court decision in American history, the abominable Roe v. Wade decision in January 1973, over 45 million unborn babies have been slaughtered in the wombs of their mothers.

Jonathan Imbody and his organization, the Christian Medical Association, have been hard at work to protect these health care...

All the major television anchors began their broadcasts last night with Cassandra-like looks and full of talk about grim economic times in America - as if 3% plus growth in the 2nd quarter of this year is equal to the Great Depression in the 1930's. There has yet to be a recession in the last 6 plus years of the Bush Administration (and there will not be), although you could not tell that in the reporting done by the "Old Media," pinning their hopes on a Liberal Messiah.

Don't hold your breath tonight in watching the networks trumpeting today's 410 point increase in the Dow Jones Industrial Average (which made up for yesterday's near equal loss.) This astounding stock market increase today followed remarks earlier today by President George W....

Considering the huge amount of flack which Vice President candidate Sarah Palin and her husband have received for not killing their beautiful child, Trig Palin, who has Down syndrome, a pro-life congressional staffer has reminded us yet again about the importance of forcing government agencies into acknowledging the value of ALL life, including unborn life:

"You might be interested in the debate over an amendment offered by Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) in the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee chaired by Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA). S. 3494, the bill under consideration yesterday was offered by Boxer and had to do with EPA estimates that assign a dollar value to human life in environmental policy making. Senator Inhofe attempted to amend the Boxer bill...

OneNewsNow.com reports that a bible-based afterschool club has been banned from meeting within the Minnesota School District 28.

Another Bible-based Good News Club has been banned from a school campus, this time in Minnesota.

Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel is taking Elk Area School District #28 to task. He argues that school officials are saying, in effect, that matters of faith have no place in schools. But Staver says the children are just asking for a level playing field.

"Equal access is the law, and equal access means equal treatment in every respect. I don't know why it's so hard to get this concept," Staver laments. "Equal access means equal,...
