The 110th Congress is noted for what it has not accomplished. In fact, it has been so unsuccessful in attending to the business of the American people, that it has a record-low 12% approval rating. However, just weeks before the November election, two Senators on the opposite ends of the political spectrum worked together and got a wonderful bill passed on Tuesday.
Senators Sam Brownback (R-KS) and Edward M. Kennedy (D-MA,) who is inflicted with a brain tumor, celebrated Senate passage of the "Prenatally and Postnatally Diagnosed Conditions Awareness Act."
