Is An Asteroid Collision Inevitable?

NEAs and PHAs


Space photography has recent advances showing shocking information. "Our team was surprised to find the overabundance of low-inclination PHAs," (Amy Mainzer/NASA/Jet Propulsion Lab). In other words, some asteroids are making closer approaches to earth than once thought. Mainzer, leader of the WISE asteroid-hunting mission, has used the NEOWISE project for all asteroid predictions.


Near-Earth Asteroid (NEA) orbits are closest to earth's orbit. Some NEAs' orbits intersect earth's, and a future collision with earth may exist. Thousands of NEAs exist. Estimates of kilometer-size asteroids are (+/-) 2000. [largest: 1036 Ganymed, at 32km.]

In December, I reported on the move by the federal government to replace traditional curriculum with government information documents. This is part of the trend towards the centralization of education, which has resulted in parents and teachers having less impact on what goes on in the classroom while the federal government’s control is expanded. One of the main concerns regarding the government information documents is the high potential for a politicized curriculum.

Add to that the revisionist history being taught in some classrooms, along with the the promotion of one religion over another.

An example of this can be found in the Texas Education Service Center Curriculum collaborative (TESCCC) and its company, CSCOPE, a major producer of curriculum used in the Texas education system.  A report shows that CSCOPE has portrayed participants in the Boston Tea Party as terrorists and is also accused of having developed an anti-Christian, pro-Islam curriculum.

And, though by law the curriculum is supposed to be accessible to parents, according to the Texas CSCOPE Review:

Historical Distinction


One can make an early historical distinction between the 'Tories' and the 'Freedom Fighters'. The Tories were those early settlers upholding the British Crown, against the supporters of colonial independence during the American Revolution. Tories refused a new constitution.


Emotionalists did not want to 'rock the boat', and portray British injustice. After the Revolutionary War, most Tories settled in Canada, Nova Scotia and the Bahamas. Thinkers knew firearms were the answer.

To glean the responses to the stories in Christian Post is to psychologically imprint a distinct image that CP is a news site of interest only to atheists, communists, gay rights advocates and Obama-backing Democrats. They are the ones who respond while the Christians seem to be missing in action.

Christians are afraid to stand up with a writer defending the faith since that might result in them being criticized as well. Can't take a chance with that y'know.

Stories about God and His miraculous work automatically provoke a meteor shower of attacks including character assassination. Particular panic burned the keyboards as the Christmas stories began to appear.

The bulldozing responses to each one by this writer have consisted of such noisy nuances, loud clattering and explosive rhetoric that I could barely hear the choirs on the radio singing, "Peace on Earth, Good Will Toward Men."

The letters are vicious, abusive, and insulting. So much so that as one editor told me, many of the writers cannot take the attacks and stop writing for the site. Sad.

Fallacy of Overpopulation


Overpopulation is a myth |explains exactly how perceived overpopulation is a complete fallacy. Soon, we’ll be hearing about reproductive problems we’ve never heard about before. Rules will be changed concerning who, and who is not, able to make babies. Better make room for spermatogenesis.


But as , just to have a stable (neither decreasing nor growing) population, each woman must have at least 2.1 offspring. But unknown to most, the biggest culprit is declining sperm production by men.
