It has been suggested that it is a tragedy for Evangelicals to pray and fast regarding the new pope as called for by Rick Warren.

While it might not be an issue worthy of fasting over as it doesn't look like most of the top contenders to the papal throne have themselves missed too many meals and won't exactly be living in a state of self denial given their opulent surroundings should they get the job, offering up a quick prayer on the matter won't hurt.

After all, the individual selected will play a significant role in steering that interpretation of the Christian faith closer towards true Biblical religion or further away into the assorted errors tempting all that call upon the name of the Lord in one fashion or the other.

What is so wrong with a Protestant praying for the selection of at least a level-headed Pope that adheres to the shared commonalities of Christian doctrine and respects the rights of existence and expression of those he disagrees with?

I guess there are those thinking the atrocities committed during the Thirty Years War by both sides were a good thing.

Nothing wins souls to your vision regarding Christ and His message like a good pillaging and the ravishing of a few unwilling maidens.

Incorrect Election Winner

All 2012 election results say Romney should have won the election. But it didn’t happen. One can scream ‘sour grapes” for 4 more years, but it will never work. However, incontrovertible evidence is different. What if that evidence exists, but still makes no difference? Devastatingly, Obama had full knowledge of what transpired, or allowed voter fraud to go on unfettered to win his second election.

Edward Klein (author/“The Amateur”) had known Obama concluded after the 2010 elections, he would lose in 2012 if the election was a referendum on the economy. And, the debt, and the economy tanked.  By 2/24/12 the Gallop Poll reported 51% of Americans said Obama’s views were too liberal, changing from 37% in 2008. Gallop also said Democrats had lost their advantage in 18 states, while Republicans gained a solid advantage in six.

o   multiple swing-states (virtual electoral ties) showed almost no votes for Romney at all

o   Democrats casting multiple votes for Obama ( 2,3, or more times)

Anger and frustration continue to mount as Americans express alarm at the direction in which the country is headed.  In order to turn the tide and boost mid-term and general election results, conservatives must significantly increase political activity at the local level—the precinct.  As the precinct leader, the committee person (or captain) is the only party official directly elected by voters.  An individual serving in this capacity is the primary contact between voters, candidates and elected officials; the precinct committee person votes directly for the leadership of the party.
