Yet another poll shows majority of Americans pro-life
For the third time in a month, another poll hase come out demonstrating that a majority of the American public is pro-life.
Earlier this week it was the Gallup poll that got the headlines, as it was the first time in that polls history that it showed over half of the public as holding a pro-life position.

Also this month, there was a Fox News poll, indicating the same thing...more Americans are pro-life than "pro-choice".
Well now we have a third poll, this one from Rasmussen, which should put to rest exactly "how" most Americans feel about the issue. From the story:
The Rasmussen survey, released on May 5, asked a different question than the others and found that 58 percent of Americans say abortion is morally wrong most of the time. Just twenty-five percent disagree and the rest had no opinion.
The survey found women are more strongly pro-life than men as 64 percent of women believe most abortions are morally wrong, a view shared by just 51% of men.
Of those who identified themselves as pro-life, 88 percent say most abortions are morally wrong as do 29 percent of those who call themselves pro-choice.
Meanwhile, another Rasmussen survey question found a majority of Americans, 52 percent, think it is too easy to get an abortion in America. That's up seven percent from two years ago when 45 percent thought it was too easy.
The two important points to take away from this are 1) that the pro-life position is indeed a majority position in this country, and 2) that the pro-life position has been gaining momentum.
I suspect that this will continue to be the case while this country has a President with the most radical pro-abortion positions of anyone who's ever held the office, joined by a Congress would seek to undermine previous pro-life victories and pass legislation like the so-called "Freedom of Choice Act", (FOCA).
