What will it take?

Our nation is in the midst of a financial crisis not seen since in decades. The moral fabric of our nation is eroding away bit by bit. The life of the unborn is under a continued assault daily. Our Christian heritage is under attack by forces that would like to eliminate any trace of God or Faith from the landscape. Churches and ministries are being harassed by those who want to take away the right of Pastors and Christian leaders to speak freely and openly about morality and sin. They are routinely labeled “racist”, “bigots”, “homophobes” or worse for simply reading Scripture that comments on these issues. Lawsuits are filed against Pastors, Churches and Evangelistic Organizations by groups masquerading as “Religious” organizations who attempt to perpetuate the imaginary “Separation of Church and State.” Clause.

So, what will it take for the Church to pray as we are commanded in 2 Chronicles 7:14 ? What more is required to awaken the righteous anger of Christians who have ignored the obvious for too long now? Our nation is reaching the tipping point where our religious freedom may be relegated to the same fate as Christians in other countries who must hide, and conduct Church services in secret. The enemies of God are working night and day, 24/7 and 365 days of the year. The enemy does a masterful job of telling a lie very well and with passion, but the Church tells the TRUTH very poorly and with no conviction. My prayer is that our children and grandchildren can count on us to fight. Nehemiah 4:14 declares..” After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, "Don't be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes."

My prayer is this, that God’s Spirit will awaken the sleeping giant of the Church of Jesus Christ before it is too late.

Through it all... I learn to trust in Jesus .. not sheckels. Might be what's going on.. we are now faced with many challenges --- where will our hearts be steadfast -- on what we see and what the world offers? Or whats to come, our Hope.

The preachers who have impressed me are those challenging the 501(c)(3) gag thats placed on a ministry once they accept the "tax break ( more money ) IRS offers.. but what (who) has been sold out in the process?

I need not elaborate...

If a 501(c)(3) prohibits speaking His Word - then some one needs to say NO THANKS to the IRS and move on. If one's giving is based on a "tax credit"(God Forbid) then once there is no incentive via IRS.. the chaff from the wheat will be seperated.

Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus
