Long Live THIS Queen!

Following my recent story, Churches Re-occupying Their Pulpits (on this news site) that show pastors re-examining their calling, Pittsburgh’s Helen Trautman (HLT The Redhead) sent me a very encouraging clip from the Washington Post headlined: “Public Prayer Stirs Culture War in Britain (3/10/12).  And the good news is, Queen Elizabeth is taking a stand.

Churches Re-Occupying Their Pulpits-Led By--

The church long ago abdicated its moral authority when it became one with the world and declared that there are 'many ways (other than Christ) to heaven.' Pastoral misconduct may have prompted this idea.

With that, the church began a rapidly increasing downhill plunge as a soft Christianity was installed that required no character or effort, with new determination to adapt to the 'changing' world rather than  the world adapting to the image of Christ.

It became an emerging church with lazy Christianity that promises all the rewards and benefits of heaven without any effort or commitment.

This spiritual malpractice cost the church the respect that had long  been its strength and opened the way to attacks by a world that in times past would not even think of vandalizing a church or showing disrespect to a minister or priest.

Instead of demonstrating solid belief, the church became wishy washy and ineffective. The government that had strict guidelines regarding the church and protecting freedom of religion, now became one of the enemies of Christianity, with such shocking hostility that the name Jesus can no longer be said in a public prayer.

More Than Picnics, Barbeques and Beer

We are at liberty to enjoy such occasions, thanks to those service men and women who gave their all, so that we could and can. It is not too much to ask that Memorial Day be spent primarily to honor them.

The other day I went to the VA Medical Center in The East Bay where I would take a shuttle bus to Mare Island. Signs on those shuttles say, "All gave some--Some gave all."

Waiting for the passengers and the driver, I noticed a white van pull up slowly to the front entrance of the care center. I knew instantly that it was the coroner's van, to pick up a veteran who had died.

When he was brought out on the gurney there was no member of his family or any friends to be with him. Perhaps he was the only one left in his family, or maybe he had been set aside and forgotten. He died alone. He was one of the 2,000 WW II veterans who died on this day. I saw them put him in the van, close the back door and slowly drive away.

As my shuttle pulled out on its way to Mare Island, tears began rolling down my face as I thought, 'An old soldier died today. And he died alone. Whoever he was, he had put his own life, future and goals aside so that we could have ours.'

BART Station Agent Axed for Compassion

(Oakley, CA.) Jim Stanek (66) was a station agent for the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART). By all accounts he was a dependable model employee. He was also a compassionate man.

A 16 year old boy whose father died last year, was taken in by his grandparents in Oakley. The grandparents manage to get by but barely. Their grandson goes to school in San Francisco which requires him to take the BART costing $220.00 a month. Plus he has to take a bus to and from BART. This is difficult for a low income family.

When Stanek learned of the youngster's plight he began to round up unused tickets tossed in the trash that still had some fare value and gave them to the boy to assist him. Supervisors went into a hissy fit and fired Stanek.

Jim Allison, a BART spokesman said, "Tickets with value left on them are supposed to be turned over to Lost and Found which will turn them over to the general fund."

Since Stanek gave the tossed tickets to a teen who needed to get back and forth to school, he lost his job. Said Allison: "Even though Stanek's decision (to give the discarded tickets) may have been made in compassion, it was NOT his decision to make." More Below Photo.

Explosive Book-Jefferson's Slave Children Paternity a Lie!

Book Review by Rev. Austin Miles

Sally Hemings, a slave girl in the Thomas Jefferson household is regarded in the history books of today more than the Founding Fathers. Why? Because of the intentional misrepresentation forged during that time by yellow journalist James T. Callender and repeatedly published all over America.

Communism insists that Capitalism be destroyed, along with all prominent leaders and the very history of America.
