Obama's Agenda for Your Employer
Obama's Agenda for Your Employer
Obama has vowed to outlaw discrimination in the workplace based on sexual orientation and gender identity. Under Obama's plan, your employer will have to maintain an open-door policy not only for gays, lesbians and bisexuals, but also for transgender, transvestite, cross-dressing job applicants and will have to implement policies and employee training designed to protect such workers from harassment and discrimination . . . This may mark the first time in America that a Federal agenda contrary to scriptural/Judeo-Christian ethics will have been linked to economic rights, to the ability of companies to sell in the marketplace.

First, Scott, you sound homophobic. We (all of us) are seen as equal in the eyes of the U.S. Constitution and God(s). The gay community is apart of god's children, and have the right to work, if qualified, anywhere that they want to work. Our country needs to come together, not to be futher divided because a few people do not like the way another person looks. It is a form of discrimination to say because a person has a different sexual orientation than yours that they should not be able to work and support their family. Your hiding behind your religion, and are also forgetting that the U.S.A is a place where all have the right to the pursuit of happiness.
I have to agree with Jim the Atheist. While I may not agree with Jim's lifestyle, I'm not going to discriminate when he makes such a valid argument. We as Christians have gone too far. Gays should have equal employment rights, adoption rights, and the same rights available to married individuals. The Bible clearly says that all sins are equal in God's eyes and we have created an unGodly construct... a monster if you will of intolerance and hate. It's no longer about the sin, it's about the individual. If it was about the sin, you would go after people like in the colonial days for lying or commiting adultry. I mean seriously, maybe we should make a point out of taking away divorce rights (custody of children, the house, take his DiMaggio rookie card) from those who lie or cheat on their spouse. Biblically, it would be the same as saying gays should not have equal employment opportunity. Also, the argument that churches would be forced to hire gays is a little looney. If the Native American Church can smoke peyote, then I think the federal government will respect our right to worship as we wish (minus polygamy).
Certain things get certain rights, according to the Bible. If you are married you can look at your spouse naked, have sex with them, have children with them, etc.. So married couples should get some rights from the government, too. But the Bible says a MAN and WOMAN marry! So only married men and women should get those marital rights. No matter what man's laws are, God's are right and should be followed. People are using body parts for things I don't think God meant them to be used for! The world is perverted and sick! If the disciples were here they would probably throw up and have a heartattack! If Jesus were here, I'm sure He would cry!!!!!!!!!!!! O Jerusalem, Jerusalem....
