Obama’s practicing double-standards
For a president, who as candidate promised to heal racial divisions and bring the country back together, Barack Obama sure is going out of his way to sow civil unrest in America. Indeed, Obama is practicing racial double-standards.
After Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was shot in Arizona early last year, Obama said, “At a time when our discourse has become so sharply polarized, at a time when we are far too eager to lay blame for all that ails the world at the feet of those who think differently than we do, it’s important for us to pause for a moment and make sure that we are talking with each other in a way that heals, not a way that wounds.”
Wow! Obama literally meant pause for “a moment.” Since Labor Day last year when Obama’s reelection campaign began, he has been dividing races against each other; income classes against each other; and sowing seeds of division every which way he can, all in the name of his re-election.
After neighborhood crime watch activist George Zimmerman, a white Hispanic, shot an unarmed teenager, Trayvon Martin, in Sanford, Florida and after the race hustlers (i.e. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton) stoked up unrest in America, Obama also began interjecting himself into the racial divide creating even more racial tension than there already was in the country. Barack Obama took sides in the debate and said: "If I had a son he'd look like Trayvon Martin."
During a bail hearing this week in Florida, Zimmerman said to the parents of Martin, "I wanted to say I am sorry for the loss of your son. I did not know how old he was. I thought he was a little bit younger than I am and I did not know if he was armed or not."
Peggy Noonan, in her “The Wall Street Journal” column this past weekend wrote about a white tourist being beat by a black mob in Baltimore. She wrote, “Young people surround him and laugh. He’s pummeled, stripped and robbed. No one helps. They’re too busy taping it on their smartphones. That’s how we heard their laughter. The video is on YouTube….”
This past weekend, a white Alabama man was beaten by a black mob of 20 or so screaming thugs who invoked the name of Trayvon Martin. Today, Matthew Owens still lies in critical condition three days later at USA Medical Center. The mob beat Owens with chairs, pipes and paint cans in front of his house in Mobile, Alabama.
WKGR-TV in Mobile, Alabama, reported that a neighbor of the beaten white man told WKGR’s reporter, Lauren Vargas, that they heard one of the black suspects say, “This is justice for Trayvon,” as she drove away. WKGR-TV also writes on its website, “That backs up what Owens' sister, who witnessed the attack from her house across the street, told News 5. Ashley Parker calls it ‘the scariest thing I have ever witnessed.’”
Barack Obama hasn’t uttered a peep about these two heinous black-on-white crimes Not long after Obama was sworn into office, his Justice Department dropped prosecution against Black Panthers in a 2008 election incident after a jury found them guilty of intimidating white voters outside election polling locations. Obama has obviously failed to protect the civil rights of white voters and is thus practicing a double-standard when it comes to race.
The question now is, will Barack Obama apologize to the nation about the racial double-standard which he and his administration have had since the beginning of his term? And more importantly, will Obama do anything to heal racial divisions in America?
