Morning News Take: Beware-Criminal Organization Under Our Noses
What a joy to awake on this day in history when Peanuts, the masterpiece comic strip created by Charles M. Schultz made its debut in 1950. The wisdom of Charlie Brown has helped guide us through frightening and bizarre times along with Snoopy, his faithful dog. So awake and rejoice! We especially need the calm and wisdom of Charlie Brown this morning as we come to realize that the most organized criminal organization in America is at work under our very noses. This blog has gathered the stats of the greatest crime corporation in history. Fasten your seat belts for this one:
There have been many facts and stats on gangs, the Mafia, the Bernie Madoff financial criminals...the list goes on and on....but this flagitious misdemeanant organization of confidence men and women who continually operate openly in our country with impunity and protection is the most despicable of all.
Within this gang: 36 have been accused of spousal abuse ...7 have been arrested for fraud...19 have been accused of writing bad checks...117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses...3 have done time for assault...71 cannot get a credit card due to stiffing people...14 have been arrested on drug-related charges...8 have been arrested for shoplifting...21 currently are defendants in lawsuits...and 84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year. The stats continue to climb.
Actually that really isn't really a bad percentage of an elite organization with a membership of 535. Yep, you guessed it. These stats spotlight members of the United States Congress. The same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year to keep us all in line....and wants to control every aspect of our lives as well as guide our morals. Great examples for America to follow.
Thanks to Pat and Ron Reagan of Brentwood, California for sending this over.

It is sad but money really does buy justice in this country. It is not what you are, but what your high powered attorneys can prove. On a lighter note I always loved Linus and his blanket haha
