Barack Obama can open his presidential campaign in Springfield, Illinois as Abraham Lincoln did. He can take the same railroad route as Abraham Lincoln did during Lincoln's final leg of his journey from Springfield to Washington D.C. for his inauguration. He can dine on replicas of Abraham Lincoln's White House china during the traditional congressional luncheon after his inaugural address. During his oath of office, he can even use the same Bible which was used by Abraham Lincoln in his first inaugural in 1861.

But, Barack Obama is no Abraham Lincoln!

Ironically, Obama is not paying homage to any former Democrat president, not even the Kennedy of Camelot fame, but instead, is emulating the greatest Republican president in American history.

Churches: you can use big screen televisions to show the Super Bowl again this year! It is almost a year since the Christian Coalition of America went against the National Football League (NFL) and churches won.

Even though the NFL had for years allowed your local bars to show the Super Bowl game on gigantic television screens, last year it refused to allow churches to have the same privilege. Churches had been holding Super Bowl parties/gatherings for the families in their churches and used big screens to watch the Super Bowl. It was a great time for camaraderie and opportunties to meet new people within and outside their churches.

To change the mind of the NFL, early last year, Christian Coalition activists around the country, and others, began lobbying their Members of Congress to try to effect a change. It was a bipartisan effort as former NFL superstar and quarterback, Heath Shuler, now a Democrat Congressman from North Carolina got involved.

Did anyone think  --  despite the analysis by Messiah's (Barack Obama's) sycophants in the news media that Obama's appointments are centrist and that House speaker Nancy Pelosi will be reaching out from the center  --  that the Democrats would indeed govern from the center? 

Incredibly, Barack Obama said yesterday in his major economic speech on the economy, that only government can solve the economic crisis in America.  And he said it twice for emphasis. 

Even a previous Democrat president knew that that is not correct; government is NOT the solution.  John F. Kennedy in the early 1960's actually got passed in Congress the largest tax cut in American history  --  up to that point  --  because Kennedy knew the federal government could not rescue the economy; only the free enterprise, American capitalistic system could do that.  President Ronald Reagan followed Kennedy's example and cut taxes and as a result America experienced a 25 year robust economic boom. 

The left-wing "Old Media"  --  which is claiming the credit for electing the most liberal presidential candidate in history  --  is blaming the wrong guy, President George W. Bush, for the housing crisis.  Instead, the real culprits, Democrat Congressman Barney Frank from Massachusetts, Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee and Democrat Senator Chris Dodd from Connecticut, Chairman of the Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, should get the lions share of the blame for protecting the two giant government-sponsored housing corporations, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. 

Unfortunately, many of the key positions in the upcoming Obama Administration are being filled with the type of people the pro-life movement have dreaded:  pro-abortion zealots.  The latest announcement by the Obama transition team that Thomas J. Perrelli has been selected by Barack Obama for the No. 3 Justice Department job is further evidence to justify such fears.

Even though a large majority of physicians and other hospital workers in America want conscience protection rules and regulations allowing them to refuse to do abortions or refer for abortions, a fanatical segment of the abortion industry and their political supporters continue to try to force doctors and others into doing this heinous procedure which has resulted in the deaths of some 50 million innocent unborn children since the Roe v. Wade decision in 1973.

American voters voted for "change" when they voted in Barack Obama as president and increased their Senate majority by an incredible 7 seats assuming that the clown, Al Franken, wins his court challenge to become the next Senator from Minnesota.  The Democrats also increased their majority in the House of Representatives by about 23 seats. 

Caroline Schlossburg or Caroline Kennedy Schlossburg, or whatever she calls herself these days, has been doing precious few interviews with the news media, and it became quite clear why she is staying away from the media in her aggressive bid to convince New York Governor David Paterson to appoint her to Senator Hillary Clinton's seat when the latter is sworn in as Obama's Secretary of State. 

Why is the left-wing  --  and mostly corrupt, as evidenced in the past presidential election  --  "mainstream" news media basically ignoring the fire-bombing of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's church with damages up to one million dollars and the very important fact that there were ladies in the church and children involved in a church ministry?  Can you imagine if some Republican zealots firebombed Barack Obama's church or Joe Biden's church or Nancy Pelosi's church?  That would be at least a month-long (if not a year's long) story in the left-wing media outlets?
