Most Americans with commonsense will agree that the Obama administration has shown almost unprecedented incompetence during its first 2 months in office. The question some are beginning to raise is is this administration now beginning to enter a new phase; that of corruption?

Yesterday's "The Washington Times" published a lead editorial entitled: "ACORN to count heads for Census." The Obama administration was obviously incompetent when it announced in a highly politicized decision -- instigated by Obama's chief of staff, Rahm Emmanuel, who was one of the Congress' most notorious political operatives -- that the 2010 census was going to be run in Obama's White House. "The Washington Times" reported in its editorial that after the administration backed down from that decision (after huge pressure from the American people,) "it clearly hasn't learned its lesson."

Incredibly, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, is talking about passing yet another stimulus bill, after just spending $1.2 trillion -- not including hundreds of billions of dollars in interest passed on to future generations -- for a stimulus bill and a FY09 omnibus bill, both signed into law by Obama. The latter bill, with some 8,500 to 9,000 pork projects (which Obama promised to end during his campaign) was signed into law without anyone looking on in the White House today. Could it be that he had a slight tinge of guilt?

Americans are becoming sick and tired of the Democrats' spending and borrowing which will hurl future generations into bankruptcy. First was the $700 billion Wall Street bailout which Obama voted for and, unfortunately, President Bush signed into law. That was followed by the Obama so-called "stimulus" bill with hundreds if not thousands of pork projects; the Obama FY09 omnibus spending bill with the thousands of pork projects, and next on Obama's agenda, his gargantuan $3.55 TRILLION budget for fiscal year 2010. Republicans say that the Obama budget spends too much money; taxes too much, and borrows too much.

After finishing William J. Bennett's two volumn America, the last best hope, one is reminded of the ongoing attack against people of faith by atheists and other left-wingers inside and outside the government. Mr. Bennett relates in Volume II, From a World at War to the Triumph of Freedom, that the government bureaucrats in building the new World War II Memorial on the Washington Mall, left off Roosevelt's words "so help us God."

Franklin Roosevelt in his famous speech following the surprise Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor concluded his remarks before a joint session of Congress by saying: "With confidence in our armed forces -- with the unbounding determination of our people -- we will gain the inevitable triumph -- so help us God." Mr. Bennett said in a note below that quote: "These last four words of President Roosevelt's sentence were, inexplicably, dropped from the engraved quotation on the World War II Memorial.

Obama's nominee for Solicitor General, Elena Kagan, is a radical leftist who fought against the United States' military recruiting and ROTC on America's college and high school campuses - Incredibly, she is being considered for the U.S. Supreme Court

Democrats continue to threaten the abolition of radio talk show hosts such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham by passing legislation bringing back the misnamed "Fairness Doctrine"

Left-wing Senator Debbie Stabenow, Democrat from Michigan, was reported in yesterday's "The Politico" newspaper on Capitol Hill to want to bring "accountability" to the public airwaves, whether it's called the Fairness Standard [sic]" or "whether it's called something else." Last year, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, San Francisco Democrat Nancy Pelosi, said that the "Fairness Doctrine" needed to be addressed in Congress. The question for Pelosi and Stabenow is, will their "Fairness Doctrine" applied to radio talk show hosts such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham also be applied to the left-wing television news networks such as NBC, CBS and ABC?

Senator Jim DeMint sponsors amendment to Obama "stimulus" bill, with co-sponsor Senator Sam Brownback, which deletes the prohibition of grant money from being spent on facilities that are used for "sectarian instruction, religious worship, or a school or department of divinity, or in which a substantial portion of the functions are subsumed in a religious mission" - DeMint Amend. Loses 43-54 Last Night - Democrats' goal is to put people of faith at yet another disadvantage

Examples of pork and non-stimulus items in Obama's "stimulus" bill includes $50 million for the National Endowment for the Arts which has funded works such as "Piss Christ", $45 million for fish passage barriers and ATV trails, $2 billion for national parks, $1.2 billion for "youth activities", $448 million for a new Dept. of Homeland Security headquarters, $850 million for Amtrak

Senate Republicans continue to challenge the pork-filled Obama "stimulus" bill now bloated up to $930 Billion ($110 Billion more than the House bill which received NO Republican votes last week; with interest, bill will balloon to some $1.4 TRILLION) - Democrats continue to defeat Republican-sponsored amendments to kill hundreds of BILLIONS of dollars of non-stimulus, pork-filled items in the Obama bill

The Bush-haters, including much of the "mainstream" media and Hollywood -- ever since President George W. Bush won the presidency against Al Gore in 2000 -- were relentless in their vitriolic hatred against the president. It is hard to imagine that a president was hated by the opposition to the extent President Bush was during the past eight years.

The presidential campaign of 2008 brought to the forefront another Republican, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, who became at least as hated by the very same extremist groups and individuals as was President Bush. Many Americans believe that Palin and Bush are hated because they are genuine in the practice of their faith and in their very strong belief in traditional values.

Barack Obama's nominee for Solicitor General, Elena Kagan, is dangerous to America. She was the radical attorney who fought in the federal courts against the legislation introduced by American hero and now deceased Congressman Jerry Solomon, a Korean War veteran, and signed into law by a Democrat president, Bill Clinton, to allow military recruiters to meet with students and to allow the Reserved Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) on campuses around the country.

All 9 members of the United States Supreme Court, including the four left-wingers on the court, disagreed with Elena Kagan's arguments against Solomon's law. The court ruled constitutional the law which stated that schools could refuse military recruiters and the ROTC program on their campuses, but then they would be denied federal funds. Yet, that choice was not good enough for Kagan and she went on her crusade against the military.
