America is a great place to live and allows people to legally enter the country. 11 million estimated Mexicans are illegal that is an invasion and calls for a military response.

Illigal Immigration need to be stopped. Every body should love their own country and if they want to migrate to other country they must have the quality to contribute to that country and should go legally.

Being half Hispanic and half white, with a hubby that received his citizenship through the military, I feel free to say what I think.  I'm not against immigration.  I'm against selective immigration.  If the borders are closed to Mexicans, then they need to be closed to ALL nationalities.  I am against supporting illegal aliens because of their demands for free support while we have families in our country that are having difficult times paying for education, caring for families, and such.  If a young person gets pregnant, she still should have an opportunity to finish school and go to college, but can't because no one supports her.  Instead they want to spend money on illegal aliens to provide housing, food, education, and medical, while they breed and develop a careless attitude towards the people who feed them.  I KNOW.  I have in-laws that live this way. 

These other people that come in take away our support are plotting our destruction.  From south of the border, we have vicious gangs that are creeping in and killing.  We have the sex slavery growing, drugs, moffia.  From the east and west, we have terrorists using our laws against us by having conventions to lure our own people in to hate America, then providing information on how to join the most elite terrorist groups.  These other countries expect us to bow and respect their laws in their country, while demanding us to do the same in our own country.

The American pride is dying.  Respect goes both ways.  If we don't receive, then we shouldn't give it.  I'm not saying to slam them, but make them earn their right to benefits by obeying the laws.

I am a pastor of a Hispanic Church. I do not check peoples imigration status in my church. I Think we are to go into all the world and preach the gospel. If the world comes to us we are to also preach to them St. Francis of Asisi said "Always preach the gospel and when it is necesary use words. Sometimes our hate and rejection preaches volumes.

Jesus said that by being kind to strangers we may be entertaining angels unaware. Jesus also said that whatever we do to the least of our brothers we do it to Him. Further if you do a word study on Strangers or Sojourners...Israel was commanded to treat them with kindness. God put sthem in the same catagory as he does widows and orphans.

Insteead of working against people that need saved it might help to work toward their salvation. We are called first to the only commission of Christ:"Go into all the world and preach the gospel...Mabe they are here because your to lazy to go there.. Pray for your enemies and then win them to Christ...Most of these people are trying to follow the word "if you can not provide for your family you are worse than an infidel" Pray before you condem. Reachout while you have an opprtunity.

Dear Pastor Miguel,Blessings in Jesus name: I am a strong faith christian here in Lahore Pakistan,your blog and all the replys I read. they all are good but I want to povint out to all true christian belivers of America about "love they nighbour"and go among the nations and spread the word"So what I understand by nighbour is all brothers and sisters in the world as we are in one body of Christ so Americans must care for their brothers and sisters who we live in those Islamic countries where to christian faith followers hater,discremination,persicution is on its peak and we live in big fear and christian faith is on HIGH RISK.

America/American christians must give relaxation in immigration higher education scholarships and theological Bible colleges education to needy poor christians who live in Islamic states like as Pakistan in fear and discremination then American christians can fulfill the love they neighbour when you help your needy brothers.Pick more and more poor needy christians out from Pakistan give them higher education in America and when we come back to our country we may serve better our fellow belivers like this you can fulfill this prophecy "go among the nations and spread the Word of God.

Please keep in your prayers the safty of fellow Pakistani christians.

May God continue in blessing America and its citizens.

I appreciate your comments Pastor Miguel, but strongly disagree with your logic. Are we to shelter criminals? The point is many cross the border and immigrate illegally. I believe we as Christians must have compassion for all of our brothers and sisters, and in the same breath our brothers and sisters should follow the law.

Have you read the recent reports of the violence along the border and also the recent case of the rancher being sued by illegal aliens? Are we as a nation and Christians supposed to allow this? Are we not to have compassion for the victims of the border crimes and also this rancher? The human trafficking that is going on across this nations borders must stop as so many different areas are affected.

I embrace outreach and ministry to non-believers. I do not embrace criminal behavior.

I just want to let you and others know that not all illegal aliens are Mexicans. There are also illegals from South and Central America and other countries who use the Mexican border to enter illegally into the US. Thanks. We do have to have something done about this problem.

Hello Folks,

It seems almost universally so, that everything boils down to the Democratic Party's (and John McCain's) version of compassion for illegal aliens boils down to giving them amnesty and a path to American citizenship. Well, this is nonsense, and what conservatives and Christians should consider adopting to thwart this sophistical (plausible, specious and deceiving) reasoning is to develop a better and sounder solution.

And that solution is to simply change the requirements for obtaining a Green Card. Right now an alien probably has to have a college degree or plan on marrying and American citizen to have any hope of working in the United States. The # of green cards issued each year is really strictly limited.

Conservatives and Christians need to wise up, and demand that Green Cards become much easier for aliens to obtain who want to work in the United States. Why not issue 15 million of them almost immediately. Then, the need for amnesty and citizenship goes away. Require a criminal background check, proof of citizenship, and any other requirements that are needed to prevent criminals and undesireables from entering the United States, and let these folks come here to work, us with open arms.

At the least this solution provides an alternative to the terrible plan the Democrats have in store for everyone later this Summer. Their hope being to enlist million of new members into their party with the promise of everything the government can provide for them, all our our expense.

What a great idea!  I like the idea of criminal background checks - so many times illegals who commit crimes are deported, and a couple of days later they are back on our streets. 

We also need to mandate that employers check social security numbers to enforce this and prevent fraudulent green cards (and stolen identities).
