Fourth of July- Independence Renewal of All

"If the son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." - John 8:36 (KJV)

President George Washington wrote a prayer addressed to "O most glorious God, in Jesus Christ" and ended it with this: "let me live according to those holy rules which thou hast this day prescribed in thy holy word. Direct me to the true object, Jesus Christ, the way, the truth and the life. Bless o lord all the people of this land." If you haven't known this freedom in Jesus Christ please ask him to come into your heart today and receive true freedom that only he can give. George Washington knew this freedom.

President Abraham Lincoln: "the ways of God are mysterious and profound beyond all comprehension. Who by searching can find him out? God only knows the issue of this business. He has destroyed nations from the map of history for their sins. Nevertheless, my hopes prevail generally above my fears for our republic. The times are dark, the spirits of ruin are abroad in all their power, and the mercy of God alone can save us." America is in a very dark place in history and as a nation we lack true obedience to our lord, please pray for a true national repentance that changes the outcome of this great nation. Thank the lord for each family that paid the ultimate price for our freedom. Because of their dedication and love for America we can celebrate the Fourth of July.

President Woodrow Wilson: "America was born a Christian nation. America was born to exemplify that devotion to the elements of righteousness which are derived from the revelations of the Holy Scriptures."

Patrick Henry: "It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians, not on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, property, and freedom of worship here."

President Thomas Jefferson: "I am a Christian - that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus Christ."

President Dwight Eisenhower: "Without God, there could be no American form of government, nor an American way of life. Recognition of the Supreme Being is the first - the most basic - expression of Americanism. Thus, the founding fathers of America saw it, and thus with God's help, it will continue to be."

This holiday, Independence Day, the Christian Coalition of America sends our love to each of you, our supporters. We pray God's richest blessings on you and your loved ones. Roberta Combs and the staff are praying for a great out pouring of the Holy Spirit across America this season as we reflect back on the only true freedom that comes from the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for each of us and America. We honor our military who, through the years, have followed in our saviors foot steps for each freedom we enjoy in America. We as an organization are so grateful and thankful for each of you and salute you this special time of the year.

I pray that each citizen of the United States of America will experience the freedom that is ours in Christ Jesus.  "And I will walk in liberty: for I seek thy precepts. I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed. And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved. My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes." - Psalm 119:45-48 (KJV)

With warmest love and gratitude to our supporters, the faith of our founding fathers, our Christian leaders today and our military. May God bless and have mercy on America.
