Everyone Goes to Heaven? Pastor Ron Says, "Not Quite."

Antioch, California (9/19/11) To hear that 20,000 people attend church every week in one county might seem auspicious. But when that county has a half million population, that impressive number slides down to a a tiny minority.  Such is the case of Contra Costa County nestled in Northern California’s Bay Area, making this the least church-attending area in America.

These stats were given in a sermon yesterday morning by Rev. Ron Bowman of Covenant Church in Antioch, California. This was part of his sermon, “Will Everyone Be in Heaven?” The liberal socialists loudly answer, “Yes!! “Furthermore,” they preach, “a loving God would never SEND someone to hell and eternal misery.” (Emphasis mine)

This is a sermon I would wish everyone in America could hear since that idea (everyone goes to heaven) has been systematically trumpeted by the liberals attempting to pave the path for socialism, an ideology where God has no place and the church must be eliminated.

The mantra of the liberals is; “All paths lead to heaven,” including ALL religions, or in another wording, “All paths lead to God.” NO they do NOT.

But it is an important stategy for the Communist cause to weaken the church by undermining her authority by initially saying that there is no real purpose in going to church since whatever path you take will lead you to the rewards of Christianity- heaven, without any effort or change in conduct.

This ‘everyone goes to heaven’ falsehood, greatly appeals to a mostly lazy population of, yes, Christians, along with non-Christians with the desire to have all the benefits of being a Christian without the moral responsibilities and integrity required in a Christian walk.

We hear references to a lliberal church, or a liberal pastor. There is no way that such an animal exists The term itself is an oxymoron—note MORON at the end of the description of contradictory terms brought together in one phrase. A Christian is a Christian, a liberal is a liberal. Period. It is either one or the other.

It is the liberals, meaning Socialist Communists, that have introduced and sponsored the so-called New Age Church, Emergent Church and others that re-write the Bible to strip it of moral teachings and to discard the notion of hell. See my story, Rob Bell’s No Hell Doesn’t Jell on this newssite or by going to: http://www.revaustinmiles.com

Pastor Bowman preached from Matthew 7:!3-14: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, but few there be that find it.”

Rev. Ron said that the wide road is open to many more things, ideas, opportunities that may offer pleasures, including illicit ones, but the narrow way is focused toward Jesus and the goal of heaven. It is the narrow path that leads us there, not carelessly by destructive side-paths offered on the wide path.

Now Back to the liberal’s statement that, “A loving God would never SEND anyone to an eternity of hell and suffering.” Readers, you may be astonished to learn that I totally AGREE with that statement made by the liberal-socialists.

God does not SEND ANYONE to hell. Everyone going the way of the world is automatically on that path. That is the natural end of life. Jesus, with His hands outstretched to us says, “Take my hands, come to me and I will guide your path.”

If I have a house on a rising and a big flood comes along, wiping everyone in its path out and I offer safety to my neighbors where the water will not reach, and they say, “Naw, I don’t want anything to do with him, next thing ya know he will want something from me, naw I’m ‘a stayin where I am. I don’t believe in him.”

The flood hits full force, and the neighbors seeing it coming say, “How….why did that neighbor let such a terrible thing happen? Why, I won’t ever even believe that he even exists!” The last cry before the gurgles of a drowning person, while the neighbor who offerred him help sits on the safe higher ground watching and shaking his head.

So world, you’ve been lied to. There is only ONE way to heaven, the narrow path with Jesus in view throughout your lives. He is not SENDING any of us to hell. That is the natural path everyone is on. He is simply saying, “Take my hand and you will be saved.”

Rev. Ron Bowman is an excellent preacher. Best of all, he has been observed by this writer, and members of his congregation as, “A man who walks the walk. A man of God.” What a JOY to meet such a man in the midst of this chaotic and corrupt world

"God is Love". 1 John 4:16 confirms it. But God is more than love - "God is just". 2 Thessalonians confirms this as well. Remember, "it is impossible for God to lie" as confirmed in Hebrews 6:18. God has told usin numerous places in the Bible he will judge everyone, here is one example:

 Hebrews 10:29-31

29 How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[a] and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”[b] 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Footnotes:

a.   Hebrews 10:30 Deut. 32:35

b.   Hebrews 10:30 Deut. 32:36; Psalm 135:14

So it is not a loving God that will throw people into hell, it is a Just God who will throw people into hell. More than that God hates those people who will end up in hell, he does not love them.

Psalm 5:5

5 The arrogant cannot stand in your presence;
you hate all who do wrong.

Psalm 11:5

5 The LORD examines the righteous,
but the wicked[a] and those who love violence
   his soul hates.

Proverbs 6:16-19

16 There are six things the LORD hates,

seven that are detestable to him:

 17 haughty eyes,
      a lying tongue,
      hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,

19 a false witness who pours out lies

and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.

Jeremiah 12:8

8 My inheritance has become to me
like a lion in the forest.
She roars at me;

   therefore I hate her.

Hosea 9:15

15 “Because of all their wickedness in Gilgal,
   I hated them there.
Because of their sinful deeds,
I will drive them out of my house.
I will no longer love them;
   all their leaders are rebellious.

Why do people only think that God is love - I blame this on the preachers who sugar coated their message each week over the many years I have personally witnessed. But back to the original point, pagans are correct in say a loving God cannot throw people into hell, but they fail to recognize that a just God will do exactly that - throw those he hates into hell, as he has so loving forewarned us.

Rev. Austin Miles Responds.

My story was accurate.  It was by no means 'sugarcoated.' It presents a serious look at hell and how we must live our lives and walk the walk Jesus requires if we expect to go to heaven. We don't get there automatically.  God does NOT hate people who sin, as suggested by the reader. According to Holy Scriptures, He hates the ACTION of sins such as lying, etc.

The Phelps Family of Kansas misrepresents God by picketing at funerals of servicemen, carrying signs, "God Hates Fags."  God does not hate homosexuals. He hates the sin of homosexuality.  I am sure that their actions grieve God.

The Gospel is not to be ministered by a sledgehammer. We have been entrusted to minister God's Word with love. John 13:34-35 lays it out: "A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another, as I have loved you (unconditional love even when we were sinners), that ye also love one another. By THIS shall all men KNOW that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." ( Emphasis Mine.)

While it is appreciated that the reader so eagerly wants to serve God,  may it be suggested that the heavy-handed approach be put aside and replaced with a softer touch. That in no way compromises The Bible one bit. Indeed, with love the message becomes more accurate and will be received by more people.

Do not be deceived. The Bible means what it says, and says what it means. Satan and others would have you believe differently. Just because the blogger here comments, "God does NOT hate people who sin"  does not make his words true. You will note he does not qualify his statement with scripture. This is because there is no scripture that says “God does not hate people who sin” it is a sugar-coated assumption. God's words are true; as it is imposable for God to lie ( Hebrews 6:8).  God also told us who he hates as I stated in my first comment to this post and will paraphrase it here to make a point:

1. Psalm 11:5 - "The LORD examines the righteous, but the wicked and those who love violence his soul hates."

2. Proverbs 6:16 & 19 - "There are six things the LORD hates, ... 19 a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers."  (note: a false witness is a person)

3.  Hosea 9:15 - "Because of all their wickedness in Gilgal, I hated them there". (note: this is God speaking)

Now you can choose to ignore the parts of the Bible that do not seem right to you, or you can explain them away with human reasoning, or just buy into someone else’s rationalizations, but God's truth still remains the truth, and you just become one of the deceived.  Don't let the false logic of “redirection” mislead you. God hates those that reject Him and conform to the evil ways of this world. When you reject God's commands you are rejecting God himself. God's commands are not for God to follow, they are for us humans to follow. God hates the wicked but he commands us to love everyone. God will seek justice and revenge but he commands us to forgive. God is a jealous God but commands us to not be jealous. God is Holy; we are sinners receiving righteousness only by his grace not by our works. Be careful how far you test God's grace, he is not bound by grace, he only chooses to extend it until he chooses to withdraw it. Stop drinking the cool-aid of:  “be saved and continue to live as the world lives”. Turn off the TV, humble yourself before God and SEEK him with ALL your heart - Read your Bible Daily (30 minutes minimum) and do what it says. 1 Corinthians 13:6
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

Rev. Austin Miles Final Comment to Reader

The reader has crossed the line. The gloves are off. The disrespect you have directed towards this pastor is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. I am not the one deceived as you suggested. You are the one who is. Especially puzzling is how the reader's raves have nothing to do with what I wrote.

Questions:

Are you an ordained minister?  I am.

Are you a chaplain? I am plus I train chaplains.

Did you go to Bible School or Semianary?  I have. I have also been a teacher in an accredited School of Theology and served as Dean of Students.

How many people come to Jesus through you?   It is constant salvations through this ministry God has entrusted me with.

The reader suggested that I read the bible and even instructed how many minutes to spend at that pursuit. While I appreciate the reader's concern and advice, The Bible is my constant companion and I spend considerable time everyday in The Holy Scriptures.

As for the arrogant rude comments about this pastor drinking the cool-aid, this is so far out of common courtesy and decency that it will be ignored.

The misguided reader wants the world to see a vengeful God to be feared. He should consider joining The Westboro Baptist Church (it is NOt affiliated with the Baptist church) since he has everything in common with the Phelps Family and their hatred. You can minister Scriptures with a sledge hammer all you want and turn everybody off in the process with your judgmental attitude instead of ministering the love of God.

It was "Christians" like YOU, with your hate and judgmental attitudes that once burned me out causing me to leave the church. Frankly, I began to see all Christians as nut cases. The vicious venom hurled at me during an orchestrated destruction campaign was so evil that it could only have been spawned in the pits of hell.

I saw all Christians as dangerous nit-wits who should not have been allowed out of their houses.  So-called "Christians like you almost robbed me of my salvation by driving me away from God. But that was and IS the assignment given to you low-lifes by Satan. I will not even try to be nice to counterfeits like you. The time I spent away from God was the most miserable time in my life and it was you dreadful phonies that drove me to that place.

When I came back to God, I realized that God was not the problem. The problem was those of you who falsely claim to be His people.  I made a vow that man would never get between me and God again. And that is the way it is.  Christians in name only, like the responder, cause more damage to the cause of Christ than a thousand of the most skilled atheists. How this pleases Satan. And without hesitation, I will come down on these representatives of Satan with both feet, that is how serious this is.

This is my final response. Any further ravings from this distrubed respondant will be ignored.

Rev. Miles, could you please tell me what denomination and church you are affiliated with? Thank you.

Rev. Austin Miles

The questions above in my response were my questions to the reader. Sorry for any confusion.

May God give you peace.
