Church and Politics: Has the Christian withdrawl from politics contributed to Obama era Hyper Partisainship?
There has been weekly is not more frequent accusations of racism and Nazism since Obama became the president. These attacks are unjust and in nearly all cases have no evidence. They are not exposing truth they are creating chaos. They are themselves acts of hatred. They do not bring people together on truth they remove people from participation.
If Jesus were in Washington (I am not suggesting he would be) he would most likely rebuke such hatred. All people have been created in the image of God; if nothing else they deserve respect. Disagreements need to be handled with truth not personal attacks which have no basis in fact.

"Obama-era" hyperpartisanship? Friend, this era of hyper-partisanship has been going on since the Clinton days, through the Bush years, and is still going strong today. I agree with you though, and I think Jesus would be absolutely sickened at the hatred and bile being spewed by those claiming to be His followers (from both sides of the political aisle). Far too many Jesus-followers have become the Pharisees of Matthew 23.
