Impeach, or Not Impeach—A Stupid Question

A recent interview with three constitutional experts rated the twelve top possible impeachable offenses in the Obama Administration. All were rated considering possibilities of achieving impeachment. A top possibilities was Benghazi, especially with recently unfolding events. In The growing case for impeachment of Obama – WorldNetDaily , 3 bipartisan attorneys evaluated 12 impeachment-indictable offenses by the Obama Administration, even though many other acts have impeachable probabilities.

Constitutional scholars Bruce Fein, a top Justice official (DoJ) in Reagan administration; Herbert Titus, a trial attorney and special assistant US Attorney (DoJ); and Louis Fisher, author of dozens of books on constitutional law, has specialties including war powers, budget policy, executive-legislative relations and judicial-congressional relations, and was invited for testimony before Congress 50x on constitutional issues.

The top 12 possible impeachable offenses are considered below, and given a ‘rating’ as to the ease of reaching impeachment. All three experts gave their professional opinion on each, and ranked each impeachment in 1 of 5 categories:

[Recent events concerning Benghazi have likely changed above impeachment recommendations. It must be remembered this Benghazi attack occurred on the anniversary of the original 9/11 attacks.]

US Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Sean Smith (State Dept), and Navy SEALs Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods were killed on 9/11/12.  Heavily armed extremists and an Al-Qaeda militia set fire to the Benghazi post, and assaulted a CIA annex with mortars.

According to sources, the State Department had prior knowledge of coordinated attacks by Muslim militants 48 hours before actual assaults upon Benghazi. Yet, with foreknowledge of looming attacks going to occur, Ambassador Stevens was left unprotected without armed Marines.

From Fox News, sources in Benghazi during the attack say "an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the consulate and subsequent attack several hours later was denied by US officials -- who also told the CIA operators twice to "stand down".”

As reported by Fox News, Intelligence knew within 24 hours of the assault on the Libyan Consulate. It was a terrorist attack, and Al Qaeda-tied jihadists were involved. Still, the FBI team wasn’t allowed to arrive at Benghazi for 24 days.

Several days after the attack, WND broke the story Stevens played a central role in recruiting jihadists to fight Assad’s regime in Syria.

The Benghazi-Syria arms-puzzle particularly involves former SecOfState Hillary Clinton, who appears to have pushed arming Al-Qaeda fighting Assad. This whole debacle smells of an officially hidden purpose of the CIA Annex in Benghazi. Listen to Hillary's Benghazi-gate testimony.

While Hillary muddled through Rand Paul: Hillary's Benghazi story unraveling – WorldNetDaily , Paul’s declaration that Syria-bound arms were moving out of Benghazi to Turkey, she answered no question directly. The latest New York Times report has confirmed CIA working with Arab governments for increasing Syrian arms. Times reported weapons airlifts in early 2012, with a much heavier flow later on. CIA declined to comment on the shipments.

Rep. Frank Wolfe (R-VA) authored House Resolution #36 (co-sponsored by >119 Representatives), urged legislators to support creation of a House Select Committee for the deadly terrorist attack in Benghazi. Two groups of 700 retired military personnel (Special Operations Speaks & Operational Security) asked the House for a major investigation into the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Strangely, it took less than a week to bring the Boston terrorists to justice. For months, there has been no arrests made with the Benghazi terrorist attacks. 

Many questions remain. Why did Hillary quit before this came to light? Why was she so speculative in her ‘non-testimony’ about Benghazi-Gate? As     SecOfState, she knew exactly what was happening. Obama likely knew Benghazi-Gate would shut-down all chances of re-election, especially with all his election fraud, despite the 1982 Consent Decree. What has Obama still not said?
