Speak out for prayer!
Dear Friend,
On September 11th, a public event will be held in New York City in commemoration of the tenth anniversary of the dreadful terror attacks of 2001. And God is not welcome.
Specifically, New York Mayor Bloomberg is refusing to allow members of the clergy to play a role in the upcoming public memorial service – or to allow any references to faith and prayer.

As you know, faith was the spiritual backbone that carried us through. In the days just after the attacks our public officials were happy to publicly seek God’s protection at a high-profile inter-faith service at Yankee Stadium.
How soon they forget.
Will you stand up for free speech and religious liberty and let Mayor Bloomberg hear from you today?
Tell him that our faith was what carried us through that awful day. And let him know that you think faith should play a role in memorializing those who died.

Add your voice to that of other Christians and stand up for prayer.
Sincerely,
Roberta Combs, President and CEO
