ACTION ALERT: Urge Your Senators to Vote NO on Judicial Nominee David Barron

Dear Friend,

One of the most radical judicial nominees has been nominated to be a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.  He is David Barron, a professor, who needs to remain a professor because of his radical viewpoints which are out of sync with the vast majority of Americans.

To accomplish left-wing goals advocated by himself and others, he urges that liberal federal judges lie in writing their opinions; in his words to “sacrifice” both “candor and clarity” in order to advance judicial “activism.”  Professor Barron cites “Roe v. Wade” as a great example of such deceitful judicial activism.

Undoubtedly, if confirmed by the Senate, Professor Barron, will bring his highly politicized approach to the law to the federal bench. Barron says that courts “must sometimes act politically,” argues that “principled judicial interpretation may obstruct democratic constitutional politics,” and suggests that there is not even a clear distinction between “constitutional principles” and “tactical, ‘political’ choices.” Incredibly, Barron maintains that a court should not, “in the interest of candor,” admit “the consideration of politics in its decision-making.”

David Barron MUST not become a federal judge!  Please call both of your United States Senators and urge them to vote NO on this radical federal court nominee.

For those of you in these states, here is a list of key Senators that need to hear from us:
