Action Alert: Urge Your Senators and Congressional Representative to Oppose the Iran Nuclear Deal

At a moment when history hangs in the balance, we need your help. Your actions can directly influence the safety of both the United States and Israel.

Congress is currently debating one of the most critical issues of our time: the future of Iran's nuclear weapons program. Unfortunately the proposed deal falls far short of what it must accomplish: permanently ending Iran's pathway to a nuclear weapon.

The potential consequences of allowing this deal to move forward are catastrophic: nuclear proliferation across the Middle East, the threat to Christians and millions more in the region from an immediate influx of over one hundred billion dollars into the terrorist supporting Iranian regime, and in 15 years, an Iran with the ability to break out to a bomb in less than a week.

The House of Representatives will be voting on H.R. 596, a bill to Repeal the so-called “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act,” known as ObamaCare on Tuesday.

Christian Coalition of America will score the votes of the 435 members of the House of Representatives on the repeal of this onerous multi-trillion ObamaCare law which has  --  contrary to the president’s campaign promises including one that the average family would save $2500  --  forced millions of Americans to lose their physicians, their insurance plans, and greatly increased the average family’s premiums with insurance plans.

Christian Coalition of America Supports the Efforts of Senators Portman and Stabenow to Combat the Persecution of Christians in Iraq

Today, U.S. Senators Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.) will introduce a resolution condemning the violence and persecution of Iraqi Christians and other religious minorities by the Islamic State in Iraq. The resolution also urges the President to reaffirm America's commitment to religious liberty by helping to create safe zones for refugees fleeing persecution, ensuring timely processing of visa applications from religious minorities, and working with the Iraqi government to ensure religious minorities are protected.

"The United States must stand up for religious freedom not only at home, but also in regions of the world experiencing turmoil like the Middle East," Portman stated. "This resolution says that we will not tolerate targeted violence against Christians in Iraq and that those persecuting Christians must be stopped."

A great way to celebrate

As we prepare to celebrate our country's Independence Day, I want to encourage you to join us in doing one of the most important things that we can do as Christian Americans:

Registering other Christians to vote.

Statistics have shown that only about half of all self-identified Christians are actually registered, which means that they have no voice in our government.

You can help change that by hosting a "Citizenship Sunday" and registering others in your church to vote.

ACTION ALERT: Urge Your Senators to Vote NO on Judicial Nominee David Barron

Dear Friend,

One of the most radical judicial nominees has been nominated to be a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.  He is David Barron, a professor, who needs to remain a professor because of his radical viewpoints which are out of sync with the vast majority of Americans.

To accomplish left-wing goals advocated by himself and others, he urges that liberal federal judges lie in writing their opinions; in his words to “sacrifice” both “candor and clarity” in order to advance judicial “activism.”  Professor Barron cites “Roe v. Wade” as a great example of such deceitful judicial activism.

Republicans Need to Bring an ObamaCare Defunding Bill for Vote on House Floor

After being out of control of the United States House of Representatives for almost a half-century, the Republicans in Congress gave the American voters a reason to vote for them in 1994:  the Contract With America.  Christian Coalition activists helped get elected many of the new members of the House of Representatives in 1994 who were determined to cut the massive federal government; reform government and give the American people, including small businesses, tax cuts which grew the economy.  The conservative and pro-family grassroots went to the polls in massive numbers and the Republicans  --  after being out of power for nearly a half-century in the House of Representatives  --  became the new majority party in Congress.

Say "I do" to supporting traditional marriage

Dear Friend,

Marriage Campaign Email ImageBy one vote, the US Supreme Court has overturned the 1996 federal "Defense of Marriage Act", in which Congress defined marriage as the union of one man and one woman.

As a result, the Court has put state marriage laws at risk as well as the religious liberties of tens of millions of America's Christians.

Despite the fact that millions of Americans have voted in over thirty states to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman, the attacks on marriage have continued.
