Is America Ready for the Democrats' Socialism?

American voters voted for "change" when they voted in Barack Obama as president and increased their Senate majority by an incredible 7 seats assuming that the clown, Al Franken, wins his court challenge to become the next Senator from Minnesota. The Democrats also increased their majority in the House of Representatives by about 23 seats.

However, when the crushing deceleration of the American economy kicks in -- assuming the Democrats do indeed fulfill their promises and pass their left-wing (socialistic) agenda -- the American people might quickly come to regret they voted in such "change." Americans had buyers' remorse after 4 years of the economy-wrecking policies instituted by the left-wing Jimmy Carter. Likewise, they had buyers' remorse after only 2 years of Bill Clinton's left-wing policies which gave Americans the largest tax increase in American history.

Caroline Kennedy and Sarah Palin: the Media's double standard

Caroline Schlossburg or Caroline Kennedy Schlossburg, or whatever she calls herself these days, has been doing precious few interviews with the news media, and it became quite clear why she is staying away from the media in her aggressive bid to convince New York Governor David Paterson to appoint her to Senator Hillary Clinton's seat when the latter is sworn in as Obama's Secretary of State.

In the "New York Times" interview, she sounded like a teenager in a cell phone conversation with her best friend, while searching desparately for intelligent answers to the questions in which she mostly failed. Like some teenagers, who use the words "like" and "you know" incessantly, Caroline Kennedy used the phrase "you know" an astounding 12 times during a 49 second period. That is a "you know" every 4 seconds! A new record if she was a teenager.

It is an absolute Joy this Christmas to see the NY Times in dire financial straits

When we were West Point cadets at the United States Military Academy, the plebes had to get up around 5:30 each morning -- with the bitter cold winds blowing across The Plain from the Hudson River and the snow swirling all around the barracks -- and actually deliver copies of the "New York Times." On blizzardly Sundays and days when the temperature reached the 90's with 99% humidity, it was expecially difficult carrying the gigantic Sunday editions to be delivered to the upperclassmen and their fellow plebes' rooms.

Back then, the "New York Times" was moderately liberal. Many cadets questioned why the West Point administration would force the cadets to buy the "Gray Lady" and not the more moderate "New York Daily News," with the highest circulation in the country in the mid-1960's.

So it is with special delight that after having to purchase 1,460 copies of the "New York Times" -- as a West Point cadet -- to read that this thoroughly discredited, and indeed corrupt newspaper, is in dire financial straits.

Senator Corker and Republicans Defend Party Principles and Defeat Unprincipled Bailout

Maybe surprisingly to the Independents and the Republicans who stayed away from the polls last month or even voted for the Democrats -- because the Republicans in Congress and in the White House abandoned many of the Republican Party's principles -- today, the Senate Republicans, led by Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell and Tennessee Republican Senator Bob Corker, prevented the House-passed bailout bill for the three American automobile companies from passing in the Senate.

What Senator Corker did is to work with Republicans and Democrats and the automobile companies, and partly with the auto unions, to come up with an alternative bill which would force the three companies to reconstitute themselves into companies which resemble the profitable foreign-owned companies located in America and using American workers. Many of those House members who voted for the Democrat bill in the House of Representatives, and the Senators who wanted to vote for it in the Senate, pretended to be satisfied that the Democrat bill's suggestions to the three auto companies were as tough as the stringent mandates contained in the Corker bill.

Planned Parenthood's Goulish Death Certificates

One would have thought that Planned Parenthood's, or as some would say, Planned Barrenhood's marketing people would have thought that they made a macabre mistake when they decided to issue death certificates or what they call gift certificates just before the celebration of Christmas and Hanukkah instead of before Halloween. But that is exactly what the Planned Parenthood of Indiana intended when they issued their $25 gift certificates just before the Christmas season, ironically on a holiday to celebrate the Giver of life.

However, Planned Parenthood is fully commited to be the taker of life as proven by the fact that they have committed some millions and millions of murders of innocent unborn children since the infamous Roe v. Wade decision in 1973, which the Democrat Party's presidential candidate is committed to not only upholding, but to ensuring ALL abortions are allowed in America at all times, even after the birth of a baby in an abotched abortion. That is what is called goulish.

Senate Republicans need to remain strong on Obama's judicial nominees

Christian Coalition of America's grassroots put a tremendous amount of effort into getting President George W. Bush's "strict constructionist" judicial nominees through, especially the efforts expended to get Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito and circuit court of appeals nominees confirmed.

Unfortunately, we were not always successful, in that some highly qualified judicial nominees actually asked President Bush to withdraw their nominations because they could not afford to have their lives put on hold for years after they were nominated by the president and with the Senate Democrats filibustering their nominations, even when the Democrats were in the minority, as they were before this current Congress.

The March Towards FOCA Has Begun

President-elect Barack Obama is wasting no time getting his radical pro-abortion policies implemented.

It was going to be expected that Obama would begin taking action at the Executive level to enact measures to make abortion more widespread and more easily attained. But, he is beginning the process of making way for these radical changes even before he first steps foot into the Oval Office. The reviews are underway regarding President Bush's abortion policies, and Obama's minions are already studying the ways to make his disastrous reversals of policy, once the hour finally arrives for him to be able to do so.

More from FoxNews.com:

President-elect Barack Obama is looking to reverse a regulation being finalized this week by the outgoing Bush administration that allows health care providers to refuse participation in any practice they object to on moral grounds, The Wall Street Journal reports.

The regulation establishes a "right of conscience" that gives medical staff the right to refuse abortions and other health care as well.

The Obama team is reviewing a wide range of Bush measures, including other reproductive-health issues, environmental and labor rules and defense spending, that it plans to reverse, officials close to the transition told the newspaper.

Will Obama turn Congress over to Republicans as Clinton did in 1994?

Even before Barack Obama takes office next month, many are questioning whether he will emulate the left-wing actions by Bill Clinton during his first two years in office which resulted in Congress being turned over to the Republicans in 1994. THE most liberal Senator according to the non-partisan "National Journal," Barack Obama, pretended to be a center-right candidate in the presidential election knowing that the country is definitely a center-right country.

In fact, according to a recent survey, 38% of Americans identify themselves as conservatives and 36% of Americans identify themselves as independents which is an exact reverse of the numbers in the last presidential year. A much smaller minority referred to themselves as liberals in both surveys.

"Obama Administration: the most corrupt presidency in history!"

"Obama Administration: the most corrupt presidency in history!" Will that be the headline of some newspapers and some news magazines a year after Barack Obama takes the oath of office? With the stench of Chicago and Illinois politics swirling around the president-elect, it looks as if this could very well be the case.

The chief of staff to the thoroughly corrupt Democrat Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich -- who the FBI is accusing of selling Obama's vacated Senate seat, to the highest bidder -- resigned today. Expected to sing like a canary to federal prosecutors to avoid 30 plus years in jail, the chief of staff, John Harris, will undoubtedly implicate his boss and just about anyone else higher than Governor Blagojevich to avoid as much jail time as he can.

Will the "pay for play" scandal even implicate top officials on Obama's White House staff including his own chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, the former Congressman who took Governor Blagojevich's seat in Congress when he ran for Governor. Uncharacteristically, Emanuel -- since the scandal broke earlier this week -- is as quite as a church mouse.
